I read many nice things about this place and since It has been on my want to go list …I Went there for the first time today. Guys I have to tell you my experience was awesome!! It’s a small little spot attached to the Chevron. Has about 3-4 booths and a salsa bar. A nice tv to watch while you wait. The young lady that took my order was very nice. I got a few things.. not knowing the tlayuda with chicken was HUGE! I also got 2 steak tacos(supreme) and a torta with marinated pork …comes with fries. I only waited about 15-20 minutes. Everything tasted fresh and delicious . Each item was seasoned perfectly. Only drawback was they left my sour cream off my supreme tacos but since I had some @ home… I’ll forgive them this time Give your taste buds a treat and check a look!! You won’t be disappointed!!

AMAZING! I had a taste of home at this small joint. Their orange salsa is awesome. Horchata was huge ! I wish they were open most days! Don’t let the size of their establishment fool you. worth it

It was like being back in Oaxaca minus the beautiful architecture and amazing art. Had the tlayuda and cannot wait to go back to try other menu items – but I hadn’t had a tlayuda since I was last in Oaxaca so had to have it. Crispy tortilla base, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, fried jalapeños, avocado slices, Oaxacan string cheese, radishes. It was amazing.

Food was good, though they didn’t make my tripa crispy, as I requested. Very good salsa bar and the lady who took my order was super nice. I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I will definitely go back to try other items like the tlayuda. I saw one come out for someone else and immediately wished I had ordered one. Looked incredible.
Super tight spot, makes it awkward to wait for takeout. There are a few booths/ tables but probably would be best to plan on takeout during peak times. No bathroom, probably not a good place for kids

Best absolutely without a doubt, Hispanic food this side of the border! I cannot recommend this enough, having lived right on said border, I’m always looking for that authentic taste and variety of flavors. This little gem has it all, awesome in every way, try it, you’ll never want to go anywhere else. The staff is also very kind and this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. And no, it’s not a gas station restaurant, it’s a real restaurant on its own. Highly recommend

Delicious food, fun tlayudas, and lots of options on the menu! Helpful bilingual service.
Hours are unusual and haven’t been updated consistently over the last couple years, so that’s the one thing that prevents it from being five stars. But if you can go when they’re open, you are in for a treat!

Amazing food! The BEST mexican food is found in places like this one. A hole-in-the-wall, next to the gas station! Food was amazing. We ordered to go and I waited in the car and the lady brought it out to me! So nice! All of my coworkers ordered different things and we all raved how good our lunch was. We’ll be back!

I went there specifically for a Tlayuda. So I purchased two of them, one with veggies only and one with Asada. I also purchased chicken tamales. The chicken tamales were tasty. The Tlayudas were good for me never having eaten one before. This place is primarily a takeout set up. The place is very small and they do have about four booths if you want to sit and dine in. Also the place was very hard to find because the place is in a Chevron gas station parking lot And this restaurant doesn’t have a big sign out front. My cashier/waitress was very friendly and had a big smile. I was a little shocked they did not have shrimp on the menu. However, I may come back to try something with the goat meat on it. I was told it had a little spice in it which is what I like 🙂
