This place was packed when I showed up for a Saturday lunch. Full parking lot. Almost entirely full of locals. Good sign. Also meant it was a little slow, but that’s OK, given the crowd.

Had my standard to start with a place. Chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg (plus potato) on flour. Cheap. About $3 per taco.

Tortillas were great. Properly warmed up and crisped up a bit. Chorizo was good. Not too greasy. Bacon/potato was OK. Potato was a little dry, but still good.

The green salsa is really spicey. Very good, but beware.

Will come back and try more. Impressed.

This took me back to Mexico! The portions are generous and traditional. I had breakfast birria and eggs with potatoes and tortillas and a huge Janice made in house. Priced right and busy. Parking in front can be tricky with traffic on McCall Rd.

A true mom-and-pop gem. The phone was constantly ringing for to-go orders, and for good reason; the food is excellent. Quick service, cozy atmosphere, and a steady stream of locals coming in and out. It feels like home. We had chilaquiles and the Morelos plate, both 10/10. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!

This place is as genuine as it gets.
True to its Mexican roots it didn’t disappoint.
The food was great and the individuals working there were fantastic.
We will be back in February to eat the other half of the menu.

Ordered the breakfast platter to go 15minutes ahead of time, still had to wait about another 8 minutes for my order to be ready after I arrived. On top of that I did not receive any butter or syrup for my pancakes. Thanks.

Such good TACOS!!!!! I had 4 different tacos and I cant decide which was the best. My friends also fully enjoyed their tacos, except for the chicharrones, which was not enjoyed. Overall, this is a great taco stop, well worth the time to get here

I got blood drawn, and was feeling woozy, and what better place to turn that around than a true, local, nearby hole-in-the-wall tex-mex cafe?

The establishment is located between a service road, a local road connecting to a highway and a highway – so parking and locating it can be difficult.

There is a drive-thru with no menu or speaker, so one would have to lean in and yell into the working kitchen.

The ordering counter is immediately to one’s right as they enter, and someone smiling and helpful assisted selecting my breakfast through the lightheadedness, and I sat in the back facing a painting the seventies would have rejected.

Breakfast tacos and a barbacoa taco soon arrived…and they were pretty good.
The bacon resembled more jerky than anything else, but the barbacoa was excellent.

My three tacos cost me under $15, and I left pleased.

I would definitely recommend if one is in the area – particularly if they recently had their blood drawn.
