Usually this was my favorite spot but the fact that they didn’t have hominy with menudo is so crazy to me. I asked to switch to pozole and they didn’t want to accommodate me. I ordered as a call in so when I asked what soups they had she didn’t mention pozole but when I asked at pick up she said they had it and since my menudo was already prepared they refused to honor my request. I’m not trying to be picky but having no hominy with menudo is crazy. I guess I’m supposed to enjoy meat with juice. Very disappointed.

Do not come here thinking its fast food. The food is always good I love coming here and getting breakfast most of all. This place also made me fall in love with flautas. Such a simple dish but it’s so fresh and delicious I could eat them every day. I also am obsessed with the hibiscus tea Aguas frescas. Worth the price ✨️

Steak taco plate. I was super hungry so I forgot to take photos. Steak was a bit dry but tasty. The rice and beans were awesome. Salsa Verde should be a little thicker but yummy. Potato needs more flavor but overall, not bad.

I ordered a ham and egg plate. It was burnt and it came with generic store bought tortillas. $3 for a bean and egg taco and the tortillas are store bought. Never again. So disappointed . Ill take my money to cracker barrel next time. Maybe thier lunch and dinner is better. Im not willing to chance it.

A good find in Denton where you can get authentic Mexican food. And take care of your Mexican food cravings. From tacos to platters;we tried the taco plate and the torta plate they were both really good and very filling; however I would definitely recommend a bit more flavor in your meats;and I would definitely try it again in the future and hope a better experience.

I came in there and asked for a bean burrito. Which is the same price as their fajita steak burrito the number five. On my bean burrito I didn’t know they were going to put lettuce sour cream, rice, tomatoes, and a sprinkle of beans. I took one bite and asked the lady if I could only have a beans and cheese only. cheese is a dollar extra, I said if you’re gonna charge me for the steak burrito I might as well get a steak and bean burrito only. She turned around and started speaking to the Cook in Spanish and you can tell they were getting mad. They reuse the same tortilla with the sour cream on it, and all the lettuce. Way to save 30 cent.

I stopped at 8am and ordered 2 breakfast tacos and an order of chips and salsa. For not being busy it seemed to take longer than expected. The tacos were decent. Nothing spectacular. ($1.99 each)

This was the sorriest excuse for salsa I’ve ever tasted. It was SWEET with ZERO SPICE, a few petite pieces of tomato and a few specs of cilantro. It almost seemed like watered down ketchup that had a few things added in to disguise it as salsa! Maybe it’s wrong to judge a place on their salsa but salsa is a basic staple! Simple to make!
Very disappointed and won’t be back.
