You should make the journey because this food SLAPS. Horchata on point. Lengua and cabeza And you must have a molcajete. We had the mixta and it was fantastic.

Knocked one star as the service is meh, but easily overlooked this because of the food. Just make sure you order two glasses of water from the start and don’t be shy to stand up and walk to the kitchen window to ask. They won’t come check on you.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Rosa one of very few that I’ll actually go to because it’s as close to authentic it gets especially when you grow up in a household with Mexican food it’s hard to compare but they got it down to a T always good I always love Fridays and Saturdays especially certain food items available those specific days only I’ll always come back

I had high hopes for Taqueria Molcajete, but unfortunately, it fell short. I ordered the meat molcajete, and the sauce was so thick and overpowering that it completely masked the flavor of everything else in the dish. It felt like all I was tasting was the sauce.

I used my card and tapped it on their machine, then asked for a receipt—only to find a surprise $2 “electronic charge” added. This kind of fee is not only shady but actually illegal in many places. I’m contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge and will be reporting this business for what I consider a fraudulent practice.
Definitely not a place I’ll be returning to.
