I recently visited Taqueria Mi Viejo and tried their street-style chicken taco—it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. But what really elevated the taco was the soft, fresh corn tortilla. It had that authentic texture that made it clear this place knows what they’re doing. I usually go back and forth between corn and flour, but this visit confirmed I’m team corn all the way.
Another standout was their salsa—seriously good. It had the perfect kick: bold and spicy enough to add excitement, but not so hot that it overpowered the other flavors. It complemented the taco beautifully and tied everything together.
The shop itself was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the great experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, and even during a busy time, the service was quick and smooth.
Taqueria Mi Viejo is definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic, flavorful tacos with top-notch salsa. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Have had food from here before and it’s been good. But forget about ordering online. It’s like the karate kid, wax on, wax off. In the middle of your order, it turns off. Then randomly on again, and off. You can’t be confident that you can consistently order online from this place. If you can’t offer it, then just remove it. Just a horrible experience.

They are reasonably priced.
They are a pretty good option for some gold birria tacos. They also have some good birria raman. Their rojo soup is also good. I really enjoyed their chile relleno. Was not much fan of the al pastor.
Overall if it’s a convenient location for you, they are worth checking out

We had a wonderful first time lunch experience today at Taqueria Mi Viejo. A cheerful brightly lit store with excellent food and service. Ordered the carnitas quesadilla and it was the best. A thin tortilla that let the juicy tender meat and tasty cheese be the star! We also had the torta cubana, and so good! Soft bread that was still ‘enough’ to hold all the ingredients together – and what a combination (ham, sausage, & pastor marinated beef)!
Ordered the chiles toreados( grilled jalapeños), and man! What a tasty treat – large whole grilled jalapeños that were so tender.
Authentic aguafrescas, wonderful warm service even during a busy lunch rush – this is a must priority!

Cold Steel
Although not the fanciest in appearance, the food is top shelf. I had the street taco platter and its was very fresh, flavorful and delicious. Service is fast, very friendly and helpful. A hidden gem and must see.

Finally we’re able to stop and give it a go. We were greeted and served by Juanita our order was al pastor gordita, Taco de tripa,and a Cubano torta. The tripa was cooked with a perfect crunch. Al pastor & the Cubano torta were ok we finished half the torta and brought the other half home for lunch tomorrow. We never go to dinner without saving room for dessert and the one reason we decided to go tonight was their homemade Flan they advertised.You can imagine my disappointment when Juanita informed us they only make that sometimes not regulary.I was crushed nevertheless we ordered from another restaurant nearby that normally has advertised items.
Overall good experience will probably stick to tacos on any return trips. Place was spotless clean from the windows to the floor.
Mainly a lunch spot for us. Because Dinner without dessert just ain’t dinner.

My wife and I both had the Chilaquiles with green salsa! It was delicious! I’ve had Chilaquiles from California, Colorado, New Mexico, and many place in Texas! This is by far the best I’ve ever had! Authentic Mexican food at its best! We love this place and will return many, many times! GST THERE! You will love it too!!

After being harassed (friendly of course) to try this local taco shop, I finally tried it and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint
My daughter and I went in to buy lunch for a few friends who had never tried their tacos and ordered a few for ourselves to try as well. We tried each of the street tacos and they we so good! The meat was flavorful and the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. I plan to come back and bring the rest of the family to try some other dishes as well as a few of their desserts.
