A relaxed and casual taco bar in St. Pauli with a really cozy and social atmosphere. Reservations aren’t possible – we went on a Friday and it was very busy, with a waiting list. However, we got a table after about 10 minutes, which was totally fine.
I had nachos with pulled pork as a starter, followed by three tacos, and churros for dessert. Everything was served very quickly and was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and fast, despite the place being packed. The bar also offers a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The price-performance ratio is definitely fair. If you’re craving good tacos, this is the place to go!

Amazing Tacos with great staff. In fact, it was the best tacos place we have been to so far. Great variety of tacos with vegetarian options. All the tables were full and we had to wait a bit in the queue to get a seat especially outside (this already shows how popular this place is). Totally recommend.

As a Mexican and a foodie this is not a good taquería, not even for german standards.
The “suadero” was more like a bad Barbacoa. The carnitas were mediocre. The red salsa was sweetened, unauthentic, expensive, and has to be ordered extra, something unthinkable when eating tacos.
And charging €4,20 for a luke warm taco, without salsa, and with that size, is simply wrong.

Had an absolutely delightful experience at Taqueria Mexiko Strasse! We indulged in a selection of tacos, and each one was a burst of authentic flavors. The Hearty taco, in particular, was incredibly delicious and stood out. To top it off, we had a couple of their cocktails, and they were just as tasty. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Mexican treat

I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone who is looking for real (good) Mexican food, but it can be a good option for someone who wants to try it for the first time. A friend recommended this place to me, saying it served authentic Mexican food. I must say the taste is “Mexican” but the tacos do not meet the expectations of a good Mexican restaurant. I tried different tacos (the classic ones): the meat was dry, flavour was bland and the offer of lime and salsa is almost not existent. We ordered 8 tacos and only got three mini lemon slices and they charge for salsa. Also, the atmosphere is modern, but not Mexican at all, they weren’t even playing Mexican music. The staff was friendly and they spoke Spanish.

Atmosphere were great, very friendly staff accompanied with good food. The food quality is good, but the pricing is simply too high for what you get. I mean I’m not exaggerating if I expect to get more than a small taco for almost 6 eur.
They either need to make the quality of the food drastically better or knock down the price down. For now , I cannot recommend this place.
