Decided to try this place because my sister had it a year or two ago when we were in town and she said it was great. Well we don’t know what changed… but our tacos were terrible. I e never had such dry chicken in a taco. So dry it was hard to swallow. And the steak was sooooo salty. I LOVE salt and always add it. But there was something wrong with the amount of salt on this steak. Again, it was hard to eat. And on top of it all, the man isn’t very nice. Not that I care that much about that if the food is good. But the food wasn’t good so him not being very nice stood out. And there are so many strange signs all over… signs about no dogs and not to take pictures of any of his cats. Like aggressive signs! Needless to say, next time we are in town we won’t be back. Wish I could say differently cause it’s nice to supper local food trucks.

This is authentic Mexican Food! I had spicy pork tacos with cilantro and onions with two taco shells on each Taco, just like in Mexico. My wife had a huge steak burrito. Both were authentic and delicious. The tacos had a little heat that I loved. This is nothing like chain restaurants food, it is authentic! The food sanitary rating was 100%. Everything is cooked to order so expect a wait. It’s not frozen and reheated like restaurants do it. Again, authentic Mexican food

The food is bland for Mexican food. The man working the window is rude and acts like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. Dude, you’re selling mediocre tacos, at best.
Come here if you’re looking for tasteless chicken and some of the rudest, most aggressive service in the area.

Best street tacos you can get!! Small little taco stand near Deckers flea market that will put any other Mexican or taco restaurant to shame!!! I order the spicy pork street tacos and Mexican style roasted corn!

The absolute worst place to visit in Murphy.
As a latino in the Murphy community I am ashamed this man is in the food and service industry cause neither the food nor the service is up to par with what you would traditionally expect.
One of the rudest people you could meet in one of the nicest towns you will ever find, the lack of education friendliness and willingness to accommodate is beyond staggering.
I simply asked if the spicy green sauce could be put to the side and he went off on a rant saying that it would delay him when he had no one there waiting.
I ignored it and said to him I will take the tacos as they come and proceeded to keep about my business on my phone.
He perceived that I was leaving him a bad review on the spot and threatened me, saying if I dared post anything bad about our interaction or about his establishment that I would find out just how it would end up for me.
After our confrontation I took the food I had paid and left. Never have I been threatened by someone because I simply had the chance to voice my opinion or expose him for the manipulative and awful behavior he showed.
If he did things the right way he wouldn’t have to worry about bad reviews.
This is a stark warning for anyone visiting his establishment. It is the worst experience you will ever have. Don’t bother going.

Taqueria Mexicana has the best tasting, freshly prepared, authentic Mexican food. Pablo’s tacos and especially the chicken quesadillas are better than any restaurant that I have visited, and it is not even a restaurant. It’s like a food trailer/house trailer, but don’t let that appearance make you think the food is not good. It is absolutely FANTASTIC every time I go there. If you are in a hurry, don’t go because you have to wait, as they cook the food to order, but it is worth every minute you have to wait! If you don’t want to wait, just don’t go at lunch time when it is the busiest. People know good food when they find it, and this is GREAT FOOD at a very reasonable price. I hesitated reviewing the Taqueria because it may mean more business for them and longer lines for me, but, oh well, why not share a good thing?

Edit: these people cannot decide when to open or close. Twice in the last six weeks I have driven ten miles only to find a closed sign at the window, and the open sign flashing. I won’t bother them anymore.
We’e stopped at what really seems to be a stationary food truck three times, and the food just gets better with each visit. So far various family members have ordered chicken tacos, pork tacos, burrito, torta and corn when available. It’s all great but personally I give a slight edge to the chicken tacos, but my daughter swears by the torta. Tacos are served in fresh corn tortillas with cilantro, lime, onion and the best ever green salsa. It’s pretty spicy but delicious. Cash only.
