This my new go to Mexican spot! in terms of pricing, quality and freshness i rate 5/5 stars. it was even just as good and just as fresh the next day including the pico and i even microwaved it and it was just as delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Went back yesterday with my son. Had the chicken Verde enchiladas there for the first time which was delicious! The portions are quite generous and the price is excellent! I can feel the love, energy and dedication the owners put into this place. The leftovers were just as yummy as the first bite! Thank you for all you do. Keep up the great work. I will be a regular here.

TOO MANY BUSSES!!! NO STARS!! and I live in the area always go to the shell EVERYDAY or la fondas I used to like this restaurant but back in 2000’s when the food was better less used as a buss stop, BUT NOW it’s crowded not even from customers but the busses! In the parking lot you constantly getting harassed by the people getting off the bus from and to Mexico they stand in the lot you have to honk to move them, they even harass and stare at my teens girl is uncomfortable for women to just go in to get a bite, Can’t even get through the drive thru to order to GO with out busses parking in the drive thru lane!!! want better service go to la Fonda no busses lines are long but they are QUICK!! no language barrier if you can’t speak Spanish they don’t make u feel stupid when u try.

Not what i expected. I ordered an asada gordita with rice and beans. Gordita was two pieces of tough corn masa, no beans or cheese in it and the side of rice and beans had no flavor. Both of my sons ordered a torta…one beef fajita and one chicken. Meat had no flavor and the bread was tough and crumbly which meant it wasnt fresh. Also no beans or mayo in the torta so it tasted dry. I had been wanting to try this place and the food looked great but sadly it wasnt. Also the dining area is very hot even if you sit under a fan like we did. The waiter was very nice and apologized for the disappointment. All the wait staff were nice.

Longtime customer here. Sorry to say the restaurant has been going downhill since Covid. Food never was excellent but it was a great value. Now it is getting expensive. Go somewhere else unless you are on foot as a passenger of the bus station. Quality and service going down, prices going up. Prices billed don’t even match the posted amount. 3 cheese enchiladas were supposed to be $9.99 according to drive thru menu but the bill was for $13.50.

Decent spot. I had the Texas plate which is carne guisada, cheese enchiladas, beans/ rice. The carne was very tender and flavorful. Enchiladas were a little empty, but the cheese was nice and melty. Beans and rice were average. Chips are actually the best part of the meal. Too bad the salsa they are served with is so basic. No spice at all. The buffet looked interesting and I might try that out next trip.

Loved their Buffet. Reasonable price of $12. Only bad thing they only have Chicken and Pork for their Buffet they have no Meats. Also be aware, alot of Traveling Buses stop and eat here.

The service was great, the food was OK, and the portions were generous, but it wasn’t very clean, and one of the toilets in the women’s restroom had no toilet seat.

Had the buffet, not very good. Not many options, nor meat available. Rice was very good, so was the sweet tea. Old but clean.
