Food is good. Might just be me being picky but I really dislike getting inedible pieces of meat which seems to happen quite often here. My main problem is the cost of the food. Very expensive. Pretty sure you can find better Mexican food at a lower price elsewhere.

We always make Mary’s our first stop, we’re from out of town & have family in mission so it’s a must anytime we visit! I absolutely love the Papa asadas with extra crema. It’s my go-to! The hamburgesas and tacos are great too! The only downside is that the ac barely cools the place down with how hot it gets, but if you go later in the day, it’s much more pleasant inside.

A LOT OF PEOPLE recommended me this taquería, they told me that it was the best here at the valley, I fell for the tostadas with deshebrada, they’re amazing! The second place goes to the baked potato! And finally the classics bistec tacos, they were good but not that great, I think I need to try the natural ones without any oil. I wish I took a picture of it…maybe not, but the Bathroom had urine all over the toilet. The waiter took our orders, no problems what so ever…I ordered a Mexican Hamburger with everything on it…Buns were toasted poorly and Soggy due to how much mustard was added…a burger for $8 plus the combo? Not worth it…Fries were lacking flavor, Patty was soggy and undercooked, clearly frozen…Beans were sure Hot…but definitely lacking FLAVOR no spice, no soupy taste…NOTHING!… The atmosphere was basic…nothing special, Spaces are really tight for waiters/waiteresses, I don’t know how they haven’t complained about it . I’ve heard about this place being the best in the valley…are you serious?

Drove from Starr County to try these tacos everyone thats from Mission rave about. I have to admit the fajita tacos are very good. Miles better than the bistek. The beans had absolutely no flavor and were cold. The tiny tray of chips for a party of 4 was just for barley enough for one person. Our waiter was out of sync big time. I got three orders and upon receiving them I only got two and had to wait another 14 minutes to get the 3rd order and she got the order wrong and gave us bistek instead of fajitas. We didn’t say anything because we just wanted to eat. Gave it two stars only for the fajita tacos.
