I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I am in San Antonio for a bit. My sister in law recommended this place, and I was blown away by how delicious the food was! The portions are huge, the food was hot and flavorful, the waitresses were kind and patient, and we were in and out relatively quick. I had the carnitas– yum!! I highly recommend.

New revamped atmosphere new menus, new food, remodeled inside very clean. The breakfast was amazing. Fresh flower tortillas! They said they are really trying to make the customer experience better. This has one of the most delicious mexican seafood. Period.
We love getting the molcajete that has mussels, shrimp, fish, octopus, scallops all in a chipotle sauce. I also love ordering a plebe which is a beer dressed with onions, a michelada type sauce and two aguachile shrimp. Just writing about this place is making my mouth water. My husband loves the chipotle shrimp enchilada plate. They also have some of the freshest oysters ive had in the san antonio area.
If the seafood is not your thing, they have a large selection for those land lovers. There pozole is probably the best ive ever had anywhere. Whats even better is their specials. On the weekend they have Pozole or menudo (which is also delicious) and a taco or your choice.
Their friendly staff are genuine, warm and welcoming. My family thought I was a vip when I walked in because a lot of the staff came to say hi with a hug and asked if I wanted my usual drink. I told them that’s just how they are here. Thank you Angie for always taking good care of us.
If you are in the area please do not deprive yourself of one of the best bites you will ever have.

Service was great but the food was kind of middle of the road for us. The margarita was very good. The restaurant is a little dated and could use some new tables and chairs. The meals weren’t terrible. The flavors just weren’t memorable, and flavors are what brings us back for more. The fajita chicken should be sizzling hot and bursting with flavor, and the same goes for the shrimp and the beef. Everything just tasted plain and we didn’t care for the way the ground beef tasted. The tortillas should also be buttery soft and piping hot. I want every business to succeed and I really think this restaurant could be much better with a few tweaks. Other reviewers rave about this place so you’ll have to decide for yourself.

I’ve seen people mention the service being slow, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. The servers are fast, friendly, and actually know the menu, which makes a big difference.
The food is consistently amazing — fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you’re getting. Plus, they gave the inside a little facelift recently with beautifully lacquered tables and seating, and it looks great.
Easily one of my go-to spots for seafood. If you’re into real Sinaloense mariscos, this place is it.

OMG. This caldo de mariscos was so delicious. Angy recommended a few things and they were amazing. She is my girl. I loved her and the customer service. She was honest and attentive. The food was so damn good. I’ll be coming back to try their breakfast foods because they smelled so good!! They make tortillas in house!!! Amazing. Even the micheladas were amazing.
