Prices on their menu are different than what they charge you. Beef is extra on anything and if they could charge for adding salt to your food they would.
The lemons were got for our birria were dry we asked for more and they charge extra.
Food was decent and our server was good.
I wouldn’t recommend.
Now I see why there was hardly anyone here.

Taqueria Maria Bonita is a newer spot in South Arlington and absolutely worth checking out. They serve legit street-style tacos, and the ability to mix and match makes it easy if you want to try a few different fillings. Everything we had was well seasoned and clearly made with care.
The menu goes well beyond tacos, with options like tortas, gorditas, quesadillas, flautas, and more, plus a full breakfast menu. There’s plenty of seating and a nice, comfortable atmosphere, which makes it an easy place to dine in. The chips and salsa are excellent, and their sauces definitely bring the heat if that’s what you’re looking for.
In addition to any of the tacos, I highly recommend the black bean and habanero dip. It’s smooth, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. This is a great addition to the local taco scene and a place I’ll be coming back to.

Tacos fought a good fight but in the end they were no match! I ate them all! Great flavor pastor is #1 beefsteak #2. I didn’t care much for the chicken but still really yummy no crumbs left. That sautéed jalapeños was spicier than I expected . Cute atmosphere, nice music and staff

Loved the food; we tried the gorditas, quesadilla, and mollete and will be returning to try more items. The facilities are clean and the staff is really friendly. Portions are also great and align with their prices.

Highly recommend the menudo , migas verdes , horchata , and the agua mineral dressed up! The food was great and the entire experience was great. I’m surprised that this restaurant isn’t as busy as it should be but trust.. it’s delicious authentic Mexican food tucked away in south Arlington .

This place has amazing street tacos! … loved em! Great flavor of hot sauces too. This is more authentic “Mexican” food, not TexMex (for the record, I totally love TexMex) but now I also love this place and their $1.50 taco Tuesday! Highly recommend them!

The tacos are delicious but a true taco fan know tacos comes with a side of ranchero beans some good chips and a good dipping Mx salsa (not in the menu ). Service is 1-of 10 I’ve-gone twice and she’s seems to be in a bad mood so for me makes me hesitate to go back again . Don’t like the menu the way is presented .

We had the Huevos Revueltos (Scrambled Eggs)Plate, the Torta Plate with BisTek(Beef)..also tried the Lengua(Tongue) Gordita. Cindy brought us 3 bottles, three flavors/spicy levels of Sauce/salsa. And a bottle of ketchup for Las Papitas(taters).
For REAL Traditional Mexican flavor, try Bonitas!!!!
We will definitely return…Cindy was great…so friendly and no attitude!!!!
One suggestion…instead of playing a novella on the TV…maybe put on some old Cantinflas or Pedro Infante/V.Fernandez movies ?

This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area. I’ve been a longtime fan of their first location, I couldn’t wait to try this new spot—and it exceeded all expectations.
I ordered the agua de jamaica and you could tell it was freshly made and not just a powder like many places do. the quesabirria tacos and consome are AMAZING. the meat and consomé were fresh and perfectly tender with so much flavor. Don’t even get me started on the cheese pull, this was by far the best birria I’ve had and much more affordable than what you would get at some other places.
This place is worth driving out of your way to get authentic and fresh Mexican food. It was very clean and the staff were attentive and friendly.
