Just had two Al Pastor tacos and they were fabulous! Great spot that has been there forever. I did the drive thru and lady working there was as sweet as she could be. My meal was only $7 so it was a great value. Go to this place – SO YUMMY.

Wow! Delicious breakfast burrito. They actually don’t have a breakfast burrito on the menu but the wonderful and friendly employee/cook made me one per my request. I asked her if she could make one using the chorizo they offer, throw in some eggs and add the “supreme burrito ” ingredients to the breakfast burrito and she made it happen. Great value and size….I am stuffed!!! Thank you Taqueria Los Rayos!! I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve been coming to this establishment for years, and I’ve always suspected that one of the ladies was over charging me, so I started to order online, and would just pick it up. But last night online ordering was closed. Also there was always a language barrier so I wouldn’t argue. Until last night. I was purposely over charged by this same woman. I’ve never paid $9.75 for a mushroom quesadilla when buying it there. And when I looked at the prices online and on their site the price was $7.63. I brought this to her attention, and first she told me those were “old prices”, then she said it was the uber price. I asked her how is it old when it says 3weeks ago it was updated on their own site. I told her that she always over charges me and this isn’t cool. I came through the drive through with my Latino friends before, and this same lady didn’t over charge them. I was in the back seat at that time. I won’t be coming back to your restaurant, and if that was the plan, you are getting your wish. The black tax is a real thing.

Food was great and service was fast. Only issue I have is that the prices are kinda high. My meal plus drink came out to $11.50 the small rice and beans bowl to this side of the picture was $4. $2 per item in side and it was tiny. Other than that everything was good. The red salsa is the better of the two they have to offer.

I had the mushroom, fish and shrimp tacos, queso and Texas margarita. Ask for freshly handmade tortillas for extra cost. They are super delicious – perfect texture and taste. Mushroom taco was surprisingly my favorite! Pass on the queso and the shrimp taco. Both were bland. Fried fish taco was ok. The 2 hot sauces on the table were hot and delicious. Fresh limes on table were a welcome. Texas margarita was good. Nice service. Cool authentic ambiance with Mexican decor and current Hispanic music.
