We’ve been loyal customers of Taqueria Los Primos for years at the Brick & Mortar location in Laurel. That spot has some of the best tacos, birrias, and pizza birria we’ve ever had. Because of how much we loved Laurel, we tried the Baltimore location three different times, hoping it would live up to the name.
It didn’t. Each visit got worse.
• Portions are noticeably smaller
• They don’t have pizza birria
• The pizza consomé is inconsistent every time
• We’ve had missing tortillas, missing sauces, and constant mistakes
That alone was already disappointing, but today absolutely crossed the line.
My wife bit into a jalapeño and found a metal shard inside. It felt like it was going to lodge in her throat and she actually had to reach into her mouth and pull it out with her fingers. It was terrifying and could have caused serious harm. For a brand new location to miss the mark so many times and then have something this dangerous happen is unacceptable.
We’re devastated that a place we once loved so much has let the Baltimore location become this inconsistent and unsafe. We will not be back, and we can’t recommend it to anyone until major changes are made.

Fresh and authentic. A new favorite. Also very affordable. And they have a sauce/pepper bar. I love the carnitas tacos, the birtia tacos, the elote, the tres leche cake, and hot horchata.
