Service is okay—pretty basic and nothing standout. The food is good overall, though they don’t serve chips like most Mexican restaurants, which was a little surprising. Portions are decent and everything tasted fresh. It’s worth trying once if you’re from the area and looking for a quick breakfast or lunch. Nothing special, but it gets the job done if you want something fast and simple.

Plenty of parking out front makes it easy to stop in, but once you step inside, be prepared—the space gets tight fast, especially during the lunch rush or on weekends. Seating is split between bar stools and a small number of tables, so it’s best to be patient.

One thing worth noting is that this place feels truly authentic. Most of the customers are Spanish-speaking locals, which in my opinion is a good sign you’re in the right spot for real Mexican food. Don’t let that intimidate you—the staff are friendly, approachable, and quick to help. Just walk up to the counter, ask if a seat or table is open, and you’ll be taken care of.

I ordered tripa tacos, tacos al pastor, and a pineapple aguas frescas. The drink was refreshing and had that fresh, homemade flavor (solid 8/10), while the tacos landed around a 7/10. Overall, this was the closest to authentic tacos I’ve had in this part of Georgia, which makes it worth a visit.

It’s not the biggest place, and it does get crowded, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. I’d definitely come back again when I’m craving something genuine and flavorful.

1. Please check your bill before paying. She tried to charge me $6 extra. First she said i had ordered a soda (i didnt). Then she said it was because the chiken fajita was $20. Good thing I took a picture of the menu otherwise they wouldve scammed me.
2. I ordered two ‘aguas’ one tamarind and one pineapple. When I finished the pineapple I asked for the free refill to be tamarind. Our server asked that same lady who said Absolutely Not!
3. Obviously after this debacle I was not interested in giving them a tip. Since the lady was working the register she decided to keep the change. I had to ask her for it

Our first time trying, and we will definitely be back. Love the interior, and it’s very subtle inside.
The food was amazing. I got their taco salad. This is like no other taco salad I’ve ever had. They load it right up. Every bit of it was fresh to made. The beef and chicken in it had great flavor.
My husband got the Texas rice dish. It was very delicious and also just as flavorful. They give you a large amount to where we could have actually split it. Same with the taco salad.

We also got chips with guacamole. They make the guacamole there fresh with every order! So delish!

We visited here for lunch while on a weekend trip. We actually used Yelp reviews to find somewhere to eat lunch and the reviews here were good. I will say the food is more of an authentic Mexican than the traditional Tex-Mex style that is usually served in Mexican restaurants. I had chicken tacos on flour tortillas and he had chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. The food had good flavor, but the chicken was a little dry. I tried the green salsa in the container on the table and loved it. It wasn’t too spicy and had a nice citrus twang. They do not bring chips and salsa to the table like most Mexican restaurants, so keep that in mind. It’s not a bad thing, just not what we are used to. The staff was friendly, the health grade was an A. It was clean inside and out. The inside is not very large and they were busy when we were there but the service was quick. It is a seat yourself restaurant. It’s a place that we would try again.

Parking was easy. I sat at the bar. The restaurant was clean and I liked the holiday decorations. I ordered the cheese dip and carnitas tacos. The server brought out two sauces which I tried on all my food and they were delicious! I absolutely loved this place. Definitely will be back.

Really great dinner! Clean restaurant, smiling faces all around.
The menu wasn’t extensive, but the predominant Mexican flavor – from decor to music, accents, limited English, and delicious smells all signaled a truly authentic meal. We weren’t disappointed!
Steak Burrito (avocado in the side, please) filled with flavorful steak, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, rice and beans, was not only delicious, but filling.
The 3 tacos – Corn tortillas, zesty chicken, pork and asada – with onions and cilantro.. we’re amazing!
One caveat – BE AWARE THAT THE PICKLED RED ONIONS ARE CRAZY HOT!! But great tasting – at least for my husband 🙂
We had the room to ourselves when we sat down. After an hour, 21 men streamed in filling the room and adding laughter and Spanish conversations to the music. It made me miss my Hispanic neighborhood in Southern California. It was a taste of “home”. We’ll be back.

The street style tacos here are amazing! They have meat options that you do not find at the typical Mexican restaurants. The tripa and suadero were delicious. This is my go to taco spot if I am in Pooler.

Absolutely amazing authentic Mexican food! We had fajitas and a burrito and both were so delicious and we ate every bite. Guacamole was made fresh to order. And the prices were incredibly reasonable. We found this when we were driving down to Florida, and already are planning to stop by again on the way back north!
