The torta was really good the bread was nice and fluffy we also got dos tacos uno de asada y uno de tripa we asked for the tripa one to be a bit more fried but it wasn’t it was kinda chewy BUT…it was still really good my husband really liked it which is surprising since it wasn’t crispy so just imagine how much better it would’ve tasted crispy definitely recommend going back again soon (tacos were already devoured by husband before I could take the picture )

First time at Taqueria Los Compadres. I go to ALOT of taquerias and am on the lookout for new ones to try. I decided on trying the lomo ribeye and a chicken tacos. All was very good and with a nice portion of food content as well. There is an option for a version of the tacos with cheese and a few other things though i just got the onions and cilantro. Probably the most important aspect of my taqueria searching is if the salsas are unique or not and they didnt disappoint at all either. West 38th street and lafayette road area worth checking out if in the vicinity. Location inside is very new looking and brightly lit. Impressive and simple . Perhaps one better thing would be beer sales but perhaps too soon for that as I understand its newly opened.

Stopped by this place while heading to South Carolina from Chicago and really enjoyed the food! We had tacos and they were on par to Chicago’s tacos.
