I’ve been here a number of times and usually get the smothered burrito which I really like!
This time I got the carne asada and it was great. I was full about halfway through the meal. I enjoy their salsas and their services pretty quick. I don’t speak Spanish so sometimes there’s a language barrier but the food is fantastic.
I will continue to come here.

Pretty good place! I had a few different tacos, chips and salsa, and a soda. Not a bad price. The meat was a bit dry but still decent flavor. The salsas were super flavorful and actually had a little heat. The chips came warm and were good. Nice spot! I’ll definitely be back.

Being from south texas, it has been a challenge finding flavorful food out here. Especially when it comes down to mexican food. However, this place never fails us no matter what my husband and I get. My personal favorite is the menudo. It is spot on compared to other places where it looks and smells like dog food. My only critique is that I wish the menudo had hominey but that could be the Tex-Mex in me.
They also have great service and the place is always clean.

Wasn’t too sure about this restaurant from the outside. Free chips and spicy enchilada-sauce-thin salsa. Husband said burrito was great and my carne asada plate came with a huge amount of delicious, tender meat. 2022 Another visit after years in-between. Husband ordered Smothered Burrito. I ordered two tacos. Al Pastor and Asada meat was good.

A good place to eat. The Agaves are recognized for their authentic 100% Mexican food, their dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, natural drinks such as Horchata and Jamaica are delicious and are prepared every day, they are five stars because they deserve it, They are very friendly in all their service and attention to all customers in addition to being a restaurant with a Californian style. Come and meet and you will like its authentic flavors.

Absolutely delicious home-cooked Mexican food. We were several people that ordered several different things including the super nachos with carne asada, tortas, tacos, enchilada, and burrito. We all had only good things to say about our food. They also had Mexican Coke and Mexican Fanta.

Just popped in to try this place out. Ordered a super asada burrito. They had chips and a spicy salsa. The burrito was huge, moist and tasty. I definitely want to try some of the other meat types on the menu.
Think of this place as a in-between a nice sit-down and a fast-food location. The building is a bit older but I came for the food not modern tile.
