Drove 30 minutes here but worth every minute. Best carnitas ever! Tasted like grandma’s recipe, simply delicious!!! Refried beans and fajita nachos were very good too! So is the Soup con pollo. We will be back.

All I have to say was, “Wow,” the tacos were awesome, the tortillas were homemade (hechas a mano), just right. The meat was tender, and I have almost one of everything: Cabeza, lengua, tripas, al pastor, carne Azada. Everything was super delicious, and I can’t wait to go back. I could compare those tacos to if they were made in the motherland, Mexico City.

Love, LOVE this place!! Its definitely our new taco spot!! I love the FRESHNESS they offer! Their wide variety of drinks is always a must try. The staff overall is very informative and kind. They do remain pretty busy, but still provide amazing customer service Always a recommendation when in Red Springs!!

Stopped at Taqueria Leon travelling through Red Spring for work. What a great little find with original Mexican Cuisine. Service was fast and friendly. Pricing was great for a Lot of food. I recommend if you find yourself passing through.

I’ve been eating lunch here when I can. I really enjoy the food and even when they are busy the food is still great. The empanadas are really good. Very crispy and full of filling.

Never ever had my food look like this smh fries Burnt and I asked for naked chicken and got hot wings instead ..Oh well it was near closing time but I should have chkd my plate but the bag was tied closed and the fries are usually better than this and seasoned smh I guess I got the last burnt batch I can still smell the burnt smell ..Wings burnt too smh and I said no salad and got salad ..Lord Jesus idk if I’m ever going bk to them

This place is one of those hole-in-the-wall gems. We visited here with 2 other couples on the recommendation of one of the couples who’d been here before. What a great time we had! The food was good. They had fresh chips and yummy salsa! The service was friendly, fast, and accurate and you get a lot of food for the price. One of the couples reported that the music being played was coming from the speakers right by our table and was blaringly loud but it was off when we arrived. They must have said something and the staff accommodated them. That shows they do take care of their customers. The server had a lovely presence and warm smile as she looked after us. We were checked on frequently enough that we never wondered where the server was when we needed something and we didn’t feel like the flow of the meal or conversation was being interrupted. The dining area is tiny so I’m not sure if they can fit large groups in there but you could probably cater to a large group at another site. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. We had a great time. Hope you get to try it.

The space might be small, but the food is amazing. I never thought I would find good Mexican food in N.C. I thought those days were left back at fort Huachuca. So happy I was wrong. We were half way through my meals before anyone thought about taking a picture. Lol so my picture does not do the food or the place justice.
