Taqueria Las Trancas is an absolute gem if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food. The tacos are packed with meat, seasoned perfectly, and served fresh every time. You can really taste the quality in each bite, from the tortillas to the toppings and salsas. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the food comes out fast. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because it consistently delivers great flavor without trying to be fancy. Came here cuz the reviews were so persuasive and it definetely didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend the barbacoa tacos cuz they were amazing and the corn in a cup was SO good with the spicy sauce they have by the pickup window I took an updated pic of their menu cuz the prices went up a bit from the menus that others had posted in the past. Still very reasonable though and the tacos are minis but they are loaded with meat! Oh and it’s a cash only type of place btw

This place is great. Value for your money. All tacos are $2 each. They’re small but packed with meat and full of flavor. Red and green salsa are on the side. I like to mix both. Both barbacoa and pastor are tasty. But my favorite is the corn in a cup. Really creamy and delicious. Considering home made food and the price it’s worth coming here to eat. I get tired of paying lots of money for fancy tacos whereas here you get great food for your hard earned dollars.

This was the best example of Great Mexican food I’ve ever had. The corn in a cup is life changing and is a must buy for anyone driving past even if your not hungry. The burritos were full of meat and flavor. Love this place!!!!

Ordered 2 buche tacos and 1 lengua torta. The buche was a little salty. The torta was good but a little messy. I did like that they put a couple of jalapeño slices in it. The Mexican coke was not cold at all. If they wrap the torta a little bit tighter in the foil and cut it in half, it would be more pleasant to eat. If they put a bit more seasoning and less salt in the buche, it would be great.the sodas need to be colder. The red salsa was good. The green salsa was bland and watered down. I’m posting this review with good intentions and not to offend anyone. I hope that they will take these things into consideration. I will be visiting them again to try something different. God bless. Update 06-08-22. I ordered another torta and it was much better than the one when I posted the review. I also ordered another buche taco. It also was much better than the last one. Thanks for the improvement.

Best darn tacos I have ever had! This is authentic Mexican and not Texmex. It is a permanent taco truck with outdoor seating only. Who cares. Eat them in your vehicle. Outstanding!!

Just recently moved the to lacy lakeview area, taqueria Zacatecas on lasalle has always been my go to so I’ve been driving way there but when I tell you this is my new fav spot I mean that. I’m so glad I found a good taco truck closer to where I live now. I got the barbocoa torta it’s hugeeeee for $8 & delicious must I mention.. & the corn in the cup omg so good. Definitely will be back

Food is absolutely amazing, only reason I’m giving 2 stars is cuz they NEED to update their hours… I’ve sidetracked twice in the past 3 days that I’ve been in-town from work cuz I really wanted to get some food from there before I left again but it looks like that’s not going to happen. It’s 10:43am, says they open at 10am and no one’s here… the other day I came by shortly after 11 cuz it said they closed at midnight, same problem then as well…. very frustrating that I keep going out of my way to get here just for nobody to be here
