Las Morritas is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor…you can really tell everything is made with care. Every dish we tried was spot-on, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the homemade tortillas and salsas.
The service was friendly, attentive, and fast, making the whole experience even better. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality is top-tier. If you’re looking for real Mexican food that hits the soul, Las Morritas is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and delicious food. I went with my boyfriend originally, but had to go back by myself to eat again. The place is well decorated, even the bathrooms have floral beautiful decorations for great selfies!
Pictured is the Steak Tampiquena. My boyfriend is hispanic and he said in his experience, this is one of the best he has had.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Mexican restaurant, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Mexico. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of the region. The service was equally impressive—fast, reliable, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made sure that every need was met promptly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return for another meal soon!

My food was awful. The chips were hard, they were very thick. The rice was hard and very spicy. The chicken chimichanga was oily and the meat smelled. I thought it was just my smell buds. I took a bite and I had to spit it out. I asked if I could change it for something else. I don’t know if she did not speak good english or just rude. I ask to speak to a manger and they never showed up. I ask another lady for the manger and she for sure did not speak English. I left paying over $15 dollars for a plate of food and chips that I did not eat.

Went for their brunch last weekend and the food was spectacular. So happy to have a Mexican restaurant in town where we can sit and have a delicious breakfast.

Best Mexican food I have ever had! I ordered the El Molcajete and it is so worth the $25! Enough for two people. My husband ordered the fish tacos: excellent! Definitely my new Mexican restaurant in Slidell area.

Super cute restaurant and friendly staff. The menu is not vegetarian friendly at all. I was able to request to add something to my order, and they did without any hesitation. The cheese dip was extremely good and had a nice texture. The red sauce needed a lot of salt and pepper.

For a new restaurant in town we were a little nervous to try it out but let me tell you now so you can keep reading …food was DELICIOUS! Hot, freshly made, flavorful, and nice presentation. The ambiance was cute, warm, and colorful. Service was excellent our server was happy to serve and pleasant! I selfishly don’t want town to find out about this little new gem so that we can keep it to ourselves. It’s small so limited seating. Enjoy!

Welcome to actual latin american flavor in Slidell. The newest establishment to grace the bustling slidell scene is Las Morritas. Authentic and original flavors delight the palate. While the smooth and relaxing atmosphere takes care of the rest. Join the rewards program and tell your friends there’s a new kid on the block, and they’re here to stay. Thanks, guys. we’ll be seeing you soon.
