Best Menudo Michoacán style,
I ever had.
Place is under renovation phase, but even though, they have lots of customers. They specialties are
MENUDO, CALDO DE CAMARON, BIRRIA, CALDO DE RES Y MOJARRA A LA PLANCHA.
The host, Sra Aurora, is very kind, caring and kind.

The place is a hideout, so be patient, use your navigation system, and you will find them in Concord, CA. I really Loved their food ❤️

I’ve been coming to this little corner of Concord for years, and nothing about it ever changes—and thank god for that. Walk in the door and before you even sit down, the señora is already yelling across the room asking what size your menudo is going to be. That’s hospitality here: loud, unapologetic, and perfect.

The menudo? Hands down the best in Concord. I’ve tried them all, and none of them hit like this one—rich, honest, soul-soothing. Consistency is the secret weapon. Every bowl feels like it was made for a Sunday morning hangover or a homesick heart. Her husband’s in the kitchen keeping the wheels turning, the waiters rotating year after year, and those handmade tortillas… easily the best in town. Thick, warm, chewy—little edible passports back to the homeland.

Yeah, the price creeps up every weekend, but who cares? You don’t come here to save money. You come here to be yelled at with love, to eat food that feels like it’s been simmering for generations, and to leave full, satisfied, and a little more human.

La Soledad isn’t just a spot—it’s a ritual. The best menudo in Concord, hands down.

Tucked away, simple spot with really good tacos. Easy to miss it, but worth looking for it. They make their large taco tortillas themselves, and it’s operated by the owners. I recommend the Taco al Pastor.

Been craving menudo for a while a friend told me about this place so today my husband and I decided to give it a try , it was the most delicious menudo I’ve had in a very long time, my husband had huevos rancheros he cleaned up that plate and yes the fresh corn tortillas are amazing, service was great and the older lady yelling out the orders I felt I was at my grandma’s house❤️ definitely coming back

Located in an unassuming back corner of a shopping plaza, it can be easy to miss or even skip altogether — but don’t!

You are genuinely and warmly greeted as if you are family coming over for a visit; very cozy!

As an avid menudo-hunter, I ordered the menudo with pata and was far from disappointed, as this bowl of menudo was probably one of the best I have had locally and across California.

Full of well-prepared tripe and all perfectly cooked. Broth was towards the lighter side, but packed with flavor (only to be further enhanced by the toasted chilis they have on every table). The soup comes with freshly-made tortillas that are continuously made; slightly crisp and fluffy in texture with wonderful corn flavor.

Seek this place out. It truly is a hidden gem in Concord.

First time here and had a standard asada burrito. The owners ( i assume) were very friendly and the burrito was massive, plus delicious!! We’ll be back!

Great food! The restaurant is located behind the shopping plaza across from where the Fry’s used to be. It was quiet when I visited but the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the wet burrito with asada, the color was a little off putting (not pic friendly), but it tasted amazing. I think it was a medium spicy tomato based sauce mixed with creama. I would totally recommend.

This is a great taqueria, with plenty of places to sit and eat. They make your food fresh for the order and are very generous with their servings. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and support a family owned local business!

Over time, like 3 years, have seen owner move very dirty floor mats and then immediately begin to prepare tortilla dough.
Also have seen owner also take cash and turn around too work on tortilla dough.

Over time, the menu has gotten less and less flavorful with less proper ingredients.
No taste, No flavor. less correct ingredients.

Menu had bee very good but now is starting to cut back on ingredients.
