We stopped here for smothered breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint! The portions were huge, allowing me a second meal to take home. They were loaded with flavorful ham/bacon, potatoes and eggs and smothered in green chili drizzled with sour cream, with sides of lettuce, tomato and avocado. They definitely have a little heat, but not too much. The service was good even with a little language barrier. Tip: Use your phone to translate menu items if your Spanish isn’t great. It took a while to be served our food, but it was worth the wait. The restaurant is clean and the tap water good. Our only complaint is that the booths are not as comfortable as they are cute. There is patio seating as an option too, though. We will definitely return!

Ordered queso birria- it was inedible. Hard, crunchy meat that tastes like MOLD. It was as if the meat had been left in the fridge for a week and then they randomly reheated it and served it. The consme was literally olive oil with some veggies cut up and added. Absolute disgusting.

The food was incredible. I got “Alambre” (that word is definitely not spelled right). It was incredible and spicy. I got it mixed. It had all kinds of meats and things in it. I loved it. It was $32 for it but it fed myself and a friend of mine. I would say well worth the money if there’s two of you, or if you split it up into two meals.

Edit: I have been going here for years. I am never going back because I had sand inside my tripe taco!! Literally spit out a ton of tiny pebbles that looked like cat litter. I’m pregnant and so worried about the safety of their food now. That means they cooked tripe that wasn’t washed properly! This has never happened in my life. Disgusting!

They don’t take the order correctly. Also they have the menu prices all incorrectly and they give you the excuses that they included more tortillas. An Alambre mix plate in the website cost 18 and when you are going to buy it is 28

The owner was super nice. The food was good until I bit into some fat. Some people like fat. Myself? The taste automatically spoils my appetite. For this reason, I usually ask for hamburger. Most Mexican restaurants &/or trucks around here don’t have hamburger. The owner treated me so well, I’ll probably go back if I’m ever in town again. I’ll just order something different.
