The best place hands down for your Mexican food craving. The tacos always LOADED, the chicken enchilada (my go to) AMAZING, and their Jamaica and Horchata drink is always a hit with the kids. And don’t forget why they are called LA SALSA, that salsa is BOMB!!!!!

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. Some of the best this side of the border. The proof is in the number of Spanish speakers you’ll hear in the restaurant. This is the real deal.

First time at Taqueria La Salsa, location is small but I was happy to be seated as soon as I arrived.
Had a little trouble trying to modify the menu because I’m allergic to a few things but the Waitress offered her suggestion and helped me modify my order to my liking, she was friendly, helpful and cute. I also had an encounter with the waiter he was also polite, attentive and very friendly.
Now the food, I was amazed how well they modified my meal I rarely get this kind of service even at high end restaurants. The food was flavorful, fresh a and fast. I will definitely make it a habit to come to this location everytime I’m in Carson city.

We love their tacos de lengua and menudo. And, every plate they serve gives you a sense of homemade food. From the chilaquiles with carne asada to their enchiladas and fried mojarras. More importantly the atmosphere is of community; where you can share a table if they are packed with someone else, and enjoy conversation. Great service too, their staff is friendly and consistent. It’s nice to see familiarity every time we eat here. Es un ambiente que se siente como un lugarcito de México.
