Carne asada burrito. Good size. Has lettuce cilantro rice and sour cream. Orange salsa. Not a ton of beef, but the beef is tender. Soft homemade tortilla. Not super flavorful though even if it’s fresh. The green and orange salsas also seemed watered down. $15 including a $2 tip, not sure it’s worth repeating since there are so many Mexican places. Played Christian play music.

Order to go and the whole order was wrong and frankly a disappointment… tacos had NOTHING ON THEM. No cilantro, no onions, no salsa. I specifically asked for all and even checked the “con todos” option. Also, got two tortas based off the reviews and there was no avocados, no peppers, even though it was specifically requested.. the onions were in chunks, and no salsa either 🙁 didn’t eat the tacos at all as we didn’t have anything at home to add to the tacos and no one wants meat by itself with no flavor. The tortas were ughh, there was enough beans to keep it from being dry. But-ehh.

This is a little , family owned restaurant. The owners are super nice. Food is delicious! Tacos are made with handmade tortillas. Chile is so hot! Lol Go try it! If I lived closer I would go eat there all the time. Next time we are in town visiting I will definitely be back!

Tucked into the old Inskip Grill spot on Inskip Drive, is Taqueria La Potosina. While they might have started as a food truck, their new location is a quaint little store with a welcoming atmosphere.
Ordering was a breeze, even with a bit of a language barrier. The staff member behind the counter knew enough English to navigate the menu easily.
Now, onto the food! The asada burrito was a flavor explosion. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, nestled in perfectly seasoned, fluffy rice. It was definitely a challenge to eat one-handed – a delicious mess!
But the real star of the show was the campechano torta. This behemoth of a sandwich was bursting with flavor. Asada and chorizo played a perfect duet, complemented by fresh toppings and a creamy avocado that tied everything together. However, this beauty was a two-hander for sure. A fork was necessary to tame at least a quarter of the filling before I could even attempt to pick it up.
The only minor letdown was the tortilla chips, which were a bit stale. Luckily, the house-made salsa was fantastic and definitely salvaged the chips.
Overall, Taqueria La Potosina is a great spot for a delicious and authentic Mexican meal. Be prepared for flavorful, generous portions, and bring your appetite!

If you want true Mexican food and not Tex-Mex you have to come here. I was a little disappointed that he had no more torta’s, so I had 3 mix meat tacos. If they have no more tortas, next time, I will get the burrito made the same way as the tacos. I wish I didn’t live an hour away, I would be here every day.

Take out mainly. Small place decorated in a Mexican festive style. Food was great! Chicken quesadillas were the best we have had anywhere. Steak Carnitas equally good! Great food and good people. Highly recommend this place! Larry Johnson
