Absolutely loved this place! The portions are generous for the price, and the rice and beans were packed with flavor. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. It’s a true family-owned spot—Rosa and her husband are wonderful, and their grandchildren help serve with such kindness and warmth. This food was amazing. We shared the combination fajitas for one and were full with food to go. The strawberry margaritas were delicious, and the guacamole was delicious. Service is absolutely amazing! Located in a small strip mall off of Beltway 8 and Sam Houston, this restaurant serves up pretty authentic Mexican food. I love the gigantic drink cups and we tried the horchata and cantaloupe drinks. Both were really really good. The food portions were good and prepped very well. However, everything was a bit bland for my taste. There were no extra hot sauces or condiments to really help. The restaurant also faces the sun and we went at 4pm and the heat was just a bit much. Some UV blocking tints or curtains would help. Overall we were happy but little things could be improved

The food was gross! I paid a lot of money for three tacos and waited 25 minutes for tacos that was trash! Then they gave me old onions and cilantro that was waiting under the heating lamp! That was there when i walked into the restaurant! I wasn’t greeted by anyone in the restaurant, but a man come in shortly after me and was catered too! I let it slide! I was then acknowledged and was able to order. I usually don’t leave reviews! But this has to be fixed if y’all want a cultural impact on your place. You may not want it, but my money spends just like everyone else’s

The service was great! The two ladies that attended us were kind and attentive. The Trompo taco kids’ plate was delicious, and so were the Mexican enchiladas; very flavor! We also ordered the asado de puerco, and that was scrumptious! The only thing that we did not like at all was the order of Guacamole. It was so heavily loaded with white onion that the avocado flavor wasn’t even there. I guess it is pre-made, and the onions take over the whole thing. It was also so very cold, so obviously, it wasn’t made when ordered. Other than that, all was great!

I was so hyped mainly for the horchata—and OMG, it did NOT disappoint! ✨ But the food… not the vibe My steak tacos were dry, crunchy, and the meat overcooked—basically inedible. The queso? Decent. The chips? Fresh, but could use a little salt love
With all that said, I’m still coming back because the customer service was —super friendly and attentive. Can’t hate on that! ❤️

well, once again, i love this place. honestly, im beginning to love this place abd its food and, the people there. very beautiful waiters who are always concerned about my needs. very courteous. attentive as well. about the food? you gotta come here and try the taco fajitas..mmmmmmm good. they just make delicious, full of good flavor and not too expensive. the prices are good just as the food is. please try the chile relleno. ask them to make them with fresh cheese. it comes with all the treamings like rice and refried beans and salad and tortillas of your choice. the place has beautiful decorations and paintings on the wall. is located by sam houston route 8, easy to get there.

The tacos hit the spot! Adding the cheese and avocado really took them to another level! Authentic, hands down. The charro beans were good too. Didn’t even add any salsa to them or anything. Flavor in every bite! They didnt have apple soda so I subbed it for the lemonade and that was perfect especially in this summer heat! The decorations around the inside were a nice touch that wrapped it all up into a very enjoyable experience!
