I can’t really rate their food as it never arrived. We ordered catering for 37 people. Were never notified that the order wasn’t coming it just never showed up. I had to buy pizza for 37 people. Was really disappointed. Everyone was looking forward to this lunch. Tried calling and no one would answer. Eventually got a refund but was never really told why we were just dropped. Definitely need to work on communication.

The target audience of this place isn’t real Mexicans like me but the food is authentic and tastes great…If you’re a real Latin person their “spicy” salsa will taste very mild like it did for me.

I had the traditional tacos and a huarache. In my photos I put a lot of salsa because that’s how I like it but it doesn’t come like that. Don’t be afraid to try it.

There’s a little sign tell you that’s their kitchen is fast and it’s true. I think I had my food under 5 mins. (It was around 11:30 on a Saturday though…)

Enjoyed a Friday after work dinner! My coworker and I were very impressed with the fresh flavorful food. I ordered the birria tacos and corn. There were also vegetarian selections that my coworker ordered. All food selections were hot and delicious The sangria margarita swirl was strong and so good!! The Works is a great place to relax after work, indoor/outdoor seating, entertainment, bar, and plenty of food options Go early before the crowds.

Placed an online order for pickup Order #b359d7d3. The order was placed approximately at 11:30am for a 12:00pm pickup. When I get there, two bags are ready. I asked if the order was complete and all was there. The response was YES. I get home and the Jarritos soda I ordered was missing. I call to reach the restaurant and nobody answers the phone. I was charged $2.95 for an item that I never received. It was not even busy so I think they need to improve their expediting. I also want a refund, but nobody responded to multiple calls. The food was tasty, but the order was incomplete. I cannot offer a good review.

What you need to know: Decent tacos, STRONG drinks, not too spicy (or flavorful) salsas, super watery queso dip.

On our first visit to the works, we decided to try two places, this being one of them.

Food: We got the steak tacos and chips/queso/salsa. The salsa they gave us was actually pretty good. However, the queso was very weird. It started out super watery – which it usually is when it’s served very very hot, except this was lukewarm. The kicker is it never clumped up or hardened – just stayed watery as it cold. Extra weird and makes me think there’s not any real cheese in it. Had a decent flavor but this weird texture put me off. The steak tacos were ok, the steak was good but wasn’t seasoned (surprise surprise), and the tortillas were very flimsy and kept falling apart after I poured in some of their self-serve salsa to bring some flavor (also, self-serve…during the end of the pandemic? At least portion out the servings!). These salsa were unfortunately not as good as the salsa that came with the chips. Fairly bland, not much spice. Disappointing but to be expected. Basically, this is bland hipster Mexican food.

Drinks: Their saving grace was definitely their amazing margarita sangria swirl. One of these had me extra tipsy. They take their regular margarita and pour it into the freeze machine, pour some sangria into the bottom of the cup and then swirl in the now-frozen margarita. Delicious and very very boozy.

Service: Mediocre. Guy at the register took our order, but wasn’t really friendly or courteous. Could’ve just been an off day.

Price: Spent over $40 on 3 tacos (no, not not 3 orders, just 3 tacos), 1 order of chips and queso, and 3 drinks. Wayyyy overpriced for me. The drinks may have been worth it, but the rest definitely wasn’t.

All in all, overpriced Mexican food, not really all that authentic – especially with the PLETHORA of legit Mexican spots around town. If you want tacos support your local taqueria. If you want strong good drinks, come here.

Professional employee! Wish they have a bigger menu board (currently just a letter sized paper menu on display by the register). Reasonable amount of food items options. We tried a bowl and a burrito, both surprisingly exceed our expectation in terms of the taste!! Will recommend Taqueria La Luz! Good food!!

The Food Works at Chattahoochee is providing so many options for visitors and La Luz is a great Mexican option! The corner restaurant has a great venue and several authentic options. I was upset to see that the frozen margaritas were not an option, but one on the rocks with light ice was a good substitute. The tacos were simple and seasoned well and there was a side bar to add your amount of cilantro and onions.

Came here over this past weekend. The Gordita with Al Pastor was very good! The shell is soft yet crispy. The Al Pastor was very flavorful and my only complaint is I would have liked more pineapple. The picture doesn’t do it justice but the Gordita is a good size. I love the cheese they use. I also got the sangria margarita swirl. This margarita might be stronger than the drinks they serve at the bar! 2 and I was feeling great! Highly recommend the Gordita.

Awesome food, flavor and service. Their food is flavorful and the margaritas are strong! I tried the nachos with chicken and every bite was full of flavor. Their verde sauce is so good I could drink it. lol the folks working there seem very happy and service is quick, too.
