Best Authentic Mexican Food I’ve had in a long time. Coming from south Texas it’s been hard finding a good mexican place. We had the tacos al pastor, asada fries and flautas. All exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to be back and try other foods in their menu – they have a variety of plates to choose.

Wonderful little Mexican restaurant. Authentic and really delicious Mexican food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really comfortable seating. Portion sizes are really large. Fun and festive decorations. Highly recommend. Will travel from other cities to eat here again.

I wish this star rating could go to 11. Stopped here on a roadtrip from SLC to Jackson. Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. Amazing service, extremely affordable. Must go.

This place is amazing! I’ve heard great things about their food truck in Layton and was excited to see they opened a location in Roy. Tried it for the first time two weeks ago and have already been back. Their pastor tacos and quesabirrias are delicious. So much flavor! The customer service was spectacular. So friendly and welcoming. 1000/10 recommend!

The food was fabulous! The salsa is honestly drinkable! We got a quesadilla with carne asada and the birria tacos. My three years old said it was better than Costa Vida. The service was quick and friendly! Highly recommend. Very clean!

The new place is great! They’ve replaced novolas tortas which was good too, but the new stuff is great.
I tried several tacos and the pollo was the best with the carne asada coming in a close second. Pastor and suadero were great too. I didn’t much like the cochinita for a taco though … This would be better in a burrito. Prices are pretty good at $2.50 per taco.
Their salsa is suuuuuper good. They have two types, one spicier than the other. The horchata was pretty good but a bit on the pricy side.
I’ll definitely be back.

We were really excited to try this place, but unfortunately our experience wasn’t welcoming. We walked in and stood at the counter ready to order for quite a while, and none of the three employees in the kitchen acknowledged us. Even a quick “Hi, we’ll be right with you” would have made a big difference.
At one point we made eye contact and smiled, but were met with what felt like an unfriendly glare. We ended up leaving because we didn’t feel welcomed or wanted there. Disappointing first impression.

Visited from Idaho and we were craving Mexican food. This place IS THE SPOT. Authentic and extremely kind service. You can see the ladies cooking it up in the kitchen and the food is excellent. Will definitely be back.

Have lived in Los Angeles all my life and moved here back in 2021 since stationed at Hill AFB.
My family and I can finally say after searching that this has to be the ✨BEST✨ mom and pop Mexican restaurant!
The vibes are warm and colorful, the staff treats you like their own, and the best part has to be the food. We recommend the Loteria Burrito with either Pastor or Asada and their Quesabirria con Consome!
Love this place!
