They have menudo daily. The beverages are free refills. They have a very tasty salsa bar and serve yourself chips. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food.

Got Ceviche which was fresh and tasted great with lime juice but a bit salty for me. Next time I would order again but ask for no salt! Overall great if you want fresh shrimp

My new favorite Mexican restaurant! Try the complex and delicious pureed/smooth sauces: one is red (a bit spicy) and one is light green (the tiniest bit spicy). I bought a half pint of the light green avocado sauce to take home. It goes with everything- from my roast chicken to a pot of black beans.

Oh, Taqueria La Katrina looked fun,
With colors and lights and a vibe in the sun.
The walls were all bright, the space had some cheer,
So I thought to myself, “Let’s go eat here!”

I ordered a burrito, alambre plate too,
Then waited… and waited… like statues would do.
The man right behind me had one thing, not two —
But somehow I left while he still had to queue.

No smile at the counter, no “thank you,” no cheer,
Just plopped down my bag and a blank little stare.
No tray, just a thud, and I shuffled away,
Already unsure if I wanted to stay.

The burrito was salty — a briny surprise.
It punched me with salt straight between both my eyes.
The flavor was missing, the balance was gone,
Like the lid on the shaker got stuck in the “on.”

The alambre was next, and I hoped for a save,
But it tasted like beef that forgot how to behave.
No salt, no spice, no seasoning found,
Just warm little bites of beige on the ground.

The salsa bar smiled — it looked kind of slick,
But every sauce there was just watery trick.
No heat, no smoke, no zest, no pow,
Just “meh” in a cup with a sad little brow.

Then came the bill — forty-six bucks.
For two little meals and a bag full of yucks.
No drink, no chips, no sauce that could sing —
Just food that went “thud” and a till that went “cha-ching.”

So Katrina, oh Katrina, you’re pretty and bold,
But the food and the service just left me cold.

Two stars out of five for a place full of glitter
That served me a dinner that tasted rather bitter.

S/o to the amazing cooks here. Loving the Ceviche on a hot summer day. Fresh and flavorful. I woke up at 10am and it sounded like a nice breakfast so I went for it. Now I have a new found respect for this establishment. Keep up the good work!

10/10 experience! Loved our food, service was excellent, and complementary Chips & Salsa bar is over the top. Looks like they had a few taco and drink specials but we opted for the Chicken and Steak fajita’s, which came with rice, refried beans, fresh salsa, sour cream, guacamole ! So good.

Portions were more than generous! We tried several on the menu and loved the fish taco and we burrito. Sauces and assorted picked were very appetising. Would come back if we are in the Santa Barbara area.

Street tacos were amazing! The service was great and the food came out in approx 2 min (no joke!) I love that they have warm corn tortilla chips and a variety of salsas. They even has sliced watermelon to enjoy! Will definitely be coming back.

Had an early lunch and stopped in for a couple of birria tacos. The meat was flavorful and tender. I like that they have a variety of salsas and other condiments to choose from. The green salsa was my favorite. Staff is soo nice. I really like the green agua fresca. Its refreshing. Next time I will try the fish taco. There was plenty of parking around 10am.
