I gre up in California, which has a crazy amount of good food. It’s hard to find good Mexican food out east sometimes, but this truck has as good, if not better food. This is from one visit, but I’m looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu. Love the homemade tortillas and the homemade agua frescas, I know from experience how hard it is to remove pineapple pulp!

carnitas tacos here are bomb! Can’t always catch them on time, but the food is good.

The handmade tortillas alone are fantastic, then they are stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat to make some delicious tacos.

The food and service used to be excellent when the owner was there. I believe as of recently they hired a woman and a man I’ve never seen; correspondingly, the quality of the food and service has gone down drastically. They changed the bread of the Tortas to that of sub style bread. This caused the portion of the tortas to be quite smaller while still charging the full $15. What used to take maybe 7 minutes for a torta, now takes over 15 minutes. Today I witnessed one of the workers sleeping in their car (not the truck itself), and the lady working the food truck had to go wake him up to come help because the line got long.

My typical order of a Torta de Asada with a Champurrado costs $18 which would be fine if they didn’t change the bread and the portion. Today, the lady forgot to charge me and I had to remind her before handing me my order. Also, when I asked for salsa roja, I was given salsa macho. It seems that she doesn’t have the experience or the capacity to run the food truck solo like the owner herself does.

Again, the quality, portion, and service has decreased drastically, so much so that it is now either on par or below other neighboring taco trucks, which is sad because this really was an excellent place for Mexican cuisine on the go.

I’d like to point out that despite all of this, I’ve always been received with a good attitude and kindness. That they do have.
