I am a fan of hole in the wall gems and have been coming here for great Mexican food, the best horchata and Jamaica, and handmade tortillas. The food is always fresh with handmade corn tortillas. I also love that they have both spicy and sweet options for chicken molé. My favorites to order are chile rellenos and menudo. The service is always great and I appreciate that they keep the restaurants and restrooms clean.

Asada average no real distinct greatness (a lot like all taco shops in and around town)
Al Pastor not from Trompo and lack real authentic flavor (no Guajillo or Anchiote flavor) lacks chile taste.

Went in today with my sister and niece, to have some Menudo since it’s a cloudy day thinking it was gonna be authentic Menudo we were wrong Menudo was bland no flavor at all, they didn’t have Tapatio or any spicy salsa to add to it they gave us a water down tomato salsa that was not spicy at all Dissapointed!..

Wont be coming here again after waiting for sooo long to be fed. (Dinner) In the meantime he brought us the most burnt chips ive ever seen lol. My tacos were good but not worth $4 a piece for them tiny things. Husband wet burrito oily as hell. Daughters Chile Verde plate was bland as can be and cold. Pretty pricey for not that great food im sorry. Disappointing.

About 3 to 4 years ago I would always come by this place to get tortas and burritos and they where the most flavor packed foods I’ve ever had. Unfortunately fast forward to today and I cant speak on the other dishes since I havent had them but whenever I get a torta or burrito of any kind it just tastes bland and mediocore, no love or passion in the taste. I have no idea what happened they definitely changed recipes or maybe they changed owners but the food is not the same. I knew something wasn’t right when I noticed the food came out way to fast. Much love to this place since I hold a lot of tasty memories here but if the owner reads this I beg you to please change back the recipe of the burritos and tortas to what it once was, thank you.
