Excellent dinner! Wasnt expecting much from this low low key spot, but was I wrong!!! Got the bistec plato and greeted by one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time! Great portion size (maybe even too much), very friendly courteous service, and some good home made salsa!! Was very pleased by all aspects of this meal and will hopefully have the opportunity to dine here again! Oh and the tortillas!! Sooo good!!

I called and asked if they have Pico and avocado. The woman that answered said no and then hung up on me. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t even have Pico? And then hangs up on you? Something doesn’t seem right. I can’t make sense of it. Maybe they don’t like white people. You may want to put on a Mexican accent if you want to call in a order from this place. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the first person to have this experience. And here I thought this place was going to save my wife and I from our Sunday burrito cravings. I was ready to tip big $$$ I hope this woman treats people better in the future. People who operate like that can’t possibly live happy lives.

Got the cheese enchiladas did not have no sauce. Nothing had flavor everything needed salt and I am not big on salt. Very disappointed was trying to give my business to a small mom & pop shop but I will not order from there again.

Be careful ordering menudo to go. They pour boiling menudo into the styrofoam with no tape for the lid. My lid melted last time before getting home. Not acceptable for paying over $10 for a mid-flavored menudo. Elote there is . Always loved their flour tortillas. Through going there unless im physically in need of menudo and they are the only available source

Didn’t like,there was a man sitting at the 1st table by the entrance dinning room. He would get on his cell phone and list all the drinks I would get up to get myself from the front refrigerator while waiting for my food. Like if we were not going to pay for the items. Not the same hospitality as when the dad had in the beginning. Guess this is the 2nd generation running the front part of the business. I forgot why I had not stopped by in about 10yrs. I had asked to add avocado to my plate and the girl (daughter) said it doesn’t come with avocado, so no. I told her I would pay extra $$$ and she says well we don’t have any, anyways. But alot of the plates on the menu come with avocado , and this is a Mexican restaurant. Avocado is a Mexican menu item!! I don’t know what happened to pleasing and keeping life long costumers.
