Drove pass this place and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. We ordered menudo, caldo de res, and a burrito. They were all good. Ingredients tasted fresh and the wife said food tasted homemade. Price wise, if you are used to dining out in Porterville, prices are fair but if you are coming from somewhere like Fresno, it is a bit higher than you may be used to.

Decent pit stop for your road trip! Tacos were good but could’ve been cheaper for what you get. Pretty much as expected, okay quality and taste for the price. The toppings were a bit wilted, but the meats were decently cooked and flavored, and the service was quick. Cute indoor mom and pop shop.

Good service. Food was hot and fresh. Salsa bar is convenient. Nice atmosphere. Quesabirria Tacos are good but only come with consumé if you purchase 3 or more tacos. Torta with carne asada was ok. Pepsi products, Aguas for drink options. Soups available daily not just on weekends. Ice cream and sweet treats available upon request but I didn’t see any on the menu.

We came in and bought asada tacos. One of the tacos had a big white piece of plastic and a human hair. We ended up throwing our whole order away because we weren’t going to eat the food after finding those things. The business was pretty empty when we walked in. I recommend customers to go elsewhere. We were the only customers when we went in and they still took a while to get us our food. We will never go to this place.

Let me tell you ordered the special $6 burrito w choice of meat(Pastor) and carnitas taco w avocado. That small taco was amazing! I’ll be back for sure! $10.00 minimum purchase or more if you used a credit card. Another hidden gem in MY book!
