You’ve got to come try this little place. Local goodness and amazing mini tacos. Many food options. Comfortable family dinning area. Lots of menu options. Home made tortillas. Great drinks (horchatas, lemonada, Jamaica and of course all the normal ones. Cole by and check it out. I think you’ll enjoy.

It was very shocking the price compared to the size of the food! The sausage and egg taco was $2.25 and the taco was a lot larger than I thought! I ordered 2 tacos and only ended up eating 1. The flour tortillas were soft and made the taco taste so much better! He got the taco loco with 5 items of his choice and it was the size of his plate! My husband and I will definitely come back.

A friend of mine recommended La Escondida and I am so glad he did! I ordered Coke Mexicana and the enchiladas de pollo con poquito queso. I don’t like a lot of cheese on my enchiladas and some places really over do it and when I order enchiladas with just a little cheese, they don’t listen and I end up with lumps of molten cheese. This place got my order right. But beyond that, I love their recipe for chicken enchiladas. They season the chicken very well before they roll it up in the corn tortillas. Most places just shred boiled chicken and roll them up. La Escondida has THE BEST chicken enchiladas. Go have some. Now I couldn’t give them five stars because I didn’t care for the rice. It was mushy. It tasted good but I didn’t care for the texture. The staff is friendly and prompt. They are open 7-days a week; on weekends they are only open for breakfast. They had a pound of barbacoa on the menu. I highly suggest you gather your buddies, hermanos, primas y todo lo gente and get you some of that!
