3.5 stars is about right. Portion sizes are small for the prices. Taqueria El Tarasco isn’t much farther away, and I think was better. Quesabirria was better, bigger, and same price for there. Mexican Coke was bigger bottles there too, and same price.

We both ordered quesabirria, boy we got one quesabirria and one quesadilla. I thought that was odd, since I was behind my friend and heard him clearly order quesabirria, do I asked for the same thing. Except I asked for three quesabirria instead of two.

Staff were friendly. Dining room is plain, but spacious. Service was fast. Food wasn’t bad, but not worth the price when Taqueria El Tarasco was so much better, and more for the similar price.

This is hands down my favorite taco spot in town . In my opinion, they serve the best carnitas in the whole valley — always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked . Recently, they had a Super Bowl raffle for a taco platter, and I actually won . The prize was incredible — 20 tacos with a great variety to choose from, and every single one was delicious. It turned into an awesome feast for us, and we were beyond grateful. Huge thanks to the team for keeping us well fed and happy! Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to .

This review is long over due! We moved here from Arizona a year ago and this is the best Mexican food we have eaten since. The owner is amazing and even added an Al Pastor taco for me to try for free. Very tasty! The staff is great and we enjoyed our time dining in.

Food is authentic Mexican food and quality meat, not fast food cheap meat Chipotle kind.
Service was excellent.
Atmosphere was fine (plenty of tables), but I would imagine this restaurant would get more recognition in a better visibility location instead of hidden along a unknown strip mall. Also more comfortable chairs would help. But food itself the best! I come from Seattle and this type nowhere there, unless I travel to Mexico…or here.

Some restaurants put your entire life into perspective and make you question your reality. Hear me out:

My friend recommended that I stopped by here since I was going to be in the area, and we just so happened to be ravenously hungry after a hike and decided to drop by. I really like the layout of the restaurant. It’s very spacious and there’s a lot of seating, service was very friendly and fast as well and the lady who took her order gave really good recommendations.

My husband ordered a machete and I ordered a quesabirria, and let me tell you that the first bite I took made me so incredibly happy and so devastatingly sad at the exact same time. It was in that moment that I realized that I thought I’d have been eating really good Mexican food in Seattle, and compared to this, I hadn’t. I realized that I would only get to taste this amazing food once or twice a year and so I tried my best to save her every bite and ended up making a second order because I just couldn’t get enough of it.

If you happen to be in the area, I am ordering you to go to this establishment and eat their food. You won’t regret it.

Pretty good taco experience here. The staff is nice, the owner/chef introduced themselves and discussed potential food allergies with someone in our party.

I had the tacos al pastor (pictured below), it had pineapple on it (as it should), and it seemed on par with the seasoning. I personally think it could have been cooked a little longer to add crisp, but it was very delicious.

Would definitely come back.

This was a great stop. They offered some non standard foods (like a machete). The hospitality was nice and the Al Pastor was wonderful. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town.

Everything is amazing. My favorite is the senior burrito. It has grilled onions and french fries with just the right amount of salt and spice. So good! The asada fries are also delicious! Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

We did enjoy the food overall. I ordered a machete and the other person had an asada quesadilla. The flavor was good, but they didn’t include many toppings, and the prices felt pretty high. For two items and a drink, the total was $36 for takeout. After being prompted for a tip, my total came to $40. Considering the cost, I was surprised that the meals didn’t come with rice or beans. Because of that, I probably wouldn’t return.
