We stopped into Taqueria La Chuli’s for lunch today and were so happy with what we tried. Everything was awesome! Excellent flavors, some surprising in a really great way, and super fun and comfortable ambiance! Their home made salsas were delicious and excellent pairing for all the foods we tried. We had the Sopa’s with Chorizo, Asada Taco, Flauta’s with Chicken, Quesadilla with Asada, and the Asada Fries. My favorite was the Sopa. The chorizo was perfect and the flavors all balanced each other so well. Some of the dishes were slightly sweet which balanced the heaviness and made for a fantastic twist to some of the classics. The marinade on the Asada was perfect and absolutely delicious. You could tell that this food was made from home recipes and made with passion and love. This is a small family owned business, which in my book makes it 10x’s. I highly recommend Taqueria La Chuli’s! They have made regulars out of us! I can’t wait to try more of the menu!

The food is cooked to order so you don’t ever get dry meat. It’s always hot off the grill and absolutely bomb. Their rice is good too. The free chips, hot sauce and meat are where this place shines. I Love that you can crab another little handful of chips if you want. The hot sauce ranges from really hot to no heat at all. This is from a Taqueria and hot sauce fan. the inside is very plain but that’s not something I care about at all. It’s nice and clean and that’s what matters. Truly 5 star eats. It’s a little high priced. $18 for my meal without a drink. if it were 15 or below I would eat there more often. I Think a family owns it so that’s awesome. They always have big smile for me.

Absolutely delicious! Some of the best guacamole I have ever had, the burritos (veggie and chicken) were loaded, and sitting outside was a treat. You definitely get your moneys worth!

I enjoyed this spot! Loved that they have a free salsa bar with chips! Tacos were alright, steak was a bit tough and chewy but the chicken was very tender and well seasoned. Top tocos in Portland, naw…… craving tacos and you’re near by, yes!

So I got a chicken quesadilla here a pretty basic meal and the chicken and the cheese and the tortilla was all really good.I think they actually make their tortillas in house.

This place is fresh and reasonably priced. I wish they did include more onions and cilantro to the salad mix, you can add to your in quesadilla. That’s some of my favorite part of eating this food.Is that nice?Fresh taste of fresh onions and cilantro.
I need to try more food to say whether or not they have super special things on the menu because I did order a pretty basic meal but I will say that the the juice that they make in-house is the best. I want a 5 gallon jug of it at my home, because I would probably finish it within a few days. It’s so delicious. Go go, go go for the juice and then explore the menu. The outdoor seating area is also really nice and colorful and reminds me of places where my family lived in costa rica and yeah, what I can imagine, in parts of mexico look like♡.

What a gem to find in Portland. Right off of MLK is this authentic taqueria. Salsas were bomb. Meats were so flavorful. Quesabirria and al pastor were the best. Definitely get a agua fresca. Lady’s working are the nicest.

Very tasty taqueria. Quick service and delicious food. We got tacos and a chicken torta. Staff were very quick and made sure our meal was accurate. Seating is available inside or outside. Great place to get a quick meal to go. Their salsa bar comes with a huge variety of options. There’s a salsa for everyone. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat.

A little on the pricy side but considering the location the prices aren’t too bad. The tacos al pastor are BOMB and the salsa is good and spicy they also have mild salsa if you like that.
