The specific dishes I got were wonderful! Maybe some people just don’t like the taste profile of this place in general, or they just didn’t like what they got. I got the Gordita Tinga, and the meat is very good, very plentiful, and overall it’s great! The Quesadilla with chicken is good too, but I couldn’t use the sauces they included because they were too spicy. I added some guacamole to help my dry mouth, and the quesadilla was good that way also. Both items are more complex than a lot of food from countries to our south, having some onions, peppers and some kind of herb in the quesadilla that looks like it could have been fresh, as opposed to dried. This isn’t just cheese and meat slapped in tortillas. I’ll go again soon and see if my opinion holds!

The food was far too expensive for its quality. While I enjoyed the individual items, it wasn’t worth how much I was charged. They also said horchata was $8. They are in a gas station parking lot, it was just too expensive. There is a table directly next to the food truck but apparently the people inside can’t see it, because even though I was sat there, they didn’t wave an arm, ring a bell, or bring out food. Maybe it’s a good meal if you like different items, and aren’t the one paying. Two stars because I wouldn’t refuse to come back if someone I was hanging out with had their heart set on this place, but I would never be back on my own.

It’s the only place I’ve visited in Frankfort that serves real Mexican food. They provide excellent service every day, and the girls are attentive and concerned, always willing to please the customer.
