It’s my first time eating here, the food is good but their menu board is deceiving. I order a vampiro and got a tostada instead. I think if they are going to name dishes that are served else where at least try to make them the same. At the very least serve it like the picture they put one the menu.

Wow, authentic Mexican food. Very nice clean restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I ordered the two carnitas tacos plate, comes with rice and beans. They are not shy about stuffing your tacos with meat. Carnitas was fresh and very tasty. Rice and beans were also very good.
You have to get your food to go. They have several tables outside that you can sit and eat.

Absolutely got my money’s worth here a lot of meat in the burrito decent amount of rice and beans the food was very very delicious well-seasoned well-cooked I was very surprised when I stopped here on the way to Shafter to pick up some wood

We were visiting family in Shafter Ca and being from South Texas (30 minutes from Matamoros Mexico) we look for homemade and authentic tastes. Our first visit here was above grade in flavor. We enjoyed the tacos de asada and tacos de carne adobada ( basically Al pastor) with their salsa roja and delicious from beginning to end.

Very delicious food and at a good price. First time here so I ordered three tacos each with different meats so I could taste the different meats. Left to right, tripas, buche and carnitas. My boy ordered the torta de lengua. He thought it was very delicious. The best thing is that you can see them chopping the meat for your tacos.

Service was kind of bad. Stood at counter ignored for a bit. Finally told to ORDER ar the PICK UP WINDOW. Carne asada was dry and had an odd flavor. Cabeza tacos we just ok. No salsa and dry Lemons. Plenty of places to buy tacos in Shafter so don’t have to return.

This place is probably the tastiest, most authentic taqueria in the area. They have a good selection of different Mexican dishes. My dad es de Mexico born and raised and he would agree. If he knew how to submit a review he would! Haha. The prices are reasonable in most of the items but it’s the quality that keeps us coming back. They are open very early I believe 5/5:30 AM. The service is great and fast. The owner is very sweet as well! Definitely worth a try!
