Chicken empanadas were delicious! I didn’t care for the black beans or that they serve tortilla chips in a paper bag for your table. I LOVED the jalapeno lime margarita that they make fresh but didn’t care for their premade house margarita. Good service. Would go there again.

The food was good, no issue there. This is a nice, quaint little Mexican place with a funky vibe, as described on their website.
The reason for a 3-star rating is because the pricing and quality of food don’t match. For the equivalent of 2 chicken bowls, 2 beers, a kids quasadilla, and chips, we paid $60. Everything was an up charge, sour cream +$0.75, chips and salsa + $7-10. This is certainly normal in some environments, but not typical with most Mexican restaurants in the area.
The childrens menu consists of 4 entrees, which is no problem. There are however no substitutes, so your child better enjoy black beans or brown rice or go without a side. Again, not a big deal, but rather inconvenient and atypical considering the equivalent competition.
All in all, average experience. Wouldn’t recommend as a family friendly place. If the owners ever plan to expand beyond Olmsted Falls where local competition exists, they’ll need to step up their game. Would I return? Probably just for a drink with the adults.

This is the first restaurant that I have ever been to where a server has said to me: “The kitchen is almost ready for me to take your order.” They bring you chips in a little bag (think Chipotle kid’s size) and charge $2 for them. The food was good not great after it came, brought by a cranky food runner, an hour after the kitchen ok’ed us ordering it. The patio, where we sat, was nice. One thing I did notice was in the stairwell by the men’s room there is a mount for a smoke detector but no actual smoke detector. Makes you wonder what the areas out of sight of customers are like.

Fresh and tasty. Cilantro rice was so flavorful and the shredded chicken was not over powering, portion size was just enough. Each bite was the same and that’s what I like, consistency! Prices were just a tad higher than average, but taste was above average. Service was friendly, attentive and quick. I will be heading back at happy hour for the wet burrito, can’t wait!

great tasting food. Unfortunately the food isn’t good enough to warrant such high prices. Also they charge for chips and salsa. If you ask for more, they charge double. Also chips come cold. Probably won’t be coming back. Maya down the street is much better and the wait staff is friendly. I had to try it once. Do better Taqueria Junction.

The food is absolutely delicious! I often get the soft tacos, which have NEVER come out anywhere near mediocre. The same goes for their burgers, which come cooked perfectly. The apple empanadas are wonderfully warm and sweet, and the caramel drizzle compliments this dessert excellently. The alcohol choices are very good, and the beers and tequilas do not disappoint. The restaurant has a warm and cozy winter environment, and a lively and fun summer atmosphere. The service is good, and the staff are very kind. I would reccomend this place to anyone who enjoys well-made Mexican food.

Visited for the first time today and the food & drinks were delicious! I got the Braised Brisket Enchiladas with Mole sauce, a berry mojito, and a pomegranate margarita and everything was wonderful, not to mention our fantastic server Chelsie who was a hoot. Looking forward to my next visit!

Taqueria Junction is one of my favorite restaurants ever. They have some of the best food I have ever tasted! Always awesome, friendly service. Reasonably priced. Love the location as well. Awesome little town to visit. I absolutely love hearing the trains go by. Kid and adult friendly. Great place for any gathering

They have really good food, the drinks are delicious, service is very good, and the patio seating is pretty nice too. The owner even came to check on us twice during our visit. I would definitely recommend it.

The pulled pork quesadilla is crazy good – one of my favorite items to order anywhere locally. I think their price points are a little out of whack for the audience they are aiming for – the majority of their Facebook reviews mention the lack of free chips and salsa, but I don’t see them changing that. Everything is always so fresh, and the service is always pretty good. I am a big fan of their hot sauces (homemade?), and I really like the atmosphere. It’s a good place to go and relax for a drink and some appetizers.
