ALL of the waitresses/waiters/bar tenders/drive thru persons along with the hostesses they ALL do an awesome job. Yet out of ALL of the waitresses our favorite is Yvonne. Of what we have observed she is constantly interacting with all the customers making sure they get their order right weather or not it’s her table. Always so friendly and smiling. She goes above and beyond. We absolutely love her as much as we love the great food. If you haven’t tried this place you really should cos you don’t know what you’re missing out on.

10/10 BEST place in town to get delicious authentic Mexican food. The tortillas are perfect! I’m never disappointed when I come here. Service is amazing! Everyone is so kind and personable! Completely impressed with every aspect of our dining experience at Taqueria Jalisco on Cimarron Ave in Corpus Christi Texas on Monday evening, November 24, 2025. Our Server Ivonne was prompt, accurate and fun. She truly enjoys her job and it shows. The food was superb, delicious, served hot and the portions were unbelievable! There is no reason for us to look elsewhere when in Corpus Christi, TX. Taqueria Jalisco on Cimarron Ave will be our Go-To everytime!

If you’re coming here for Mexican food, you’re already going to have a good time… but if you get drinks from Alek, it takes the whole experience to another level.
Alek is honestly one of the most knowledgeable bartenders I’ve ever met! and not in a “trying to show off” way, but in a way that makes you feel taken care of. He knows everything about liquor… like the actual origin, history, and the differences between types (tequila vs mezcal, bourbons, rums, whiskeys, you name it). I’ve never had a bartender explain spirits in a way that’s actually interesting and easy to understand. It feels like you’re getting a drink and a mini experience at the bar.
What I love most is that if you’re not sure what to order, Alek will literally ask what flavors you like ; sweet, smoky, strong, smooth, refreshing, and then he’ll surprise you with something custom. And the best part is: he doesn’t miss!!!
He made me an espresso martini that was perfectly balanced and smooth (not overly sweet, just right) with the most beautiful foam on top. I also had a citrus martini that was crisp, clean, and refreshing. It tasted like something you’d get at a high-end cocktail bar. And the old fashioned he made was easily one of the best I’ve had! strong, smooth, and made the right way with a perfect finish. Every drink tasted intentional and crafted, not rushed.
Service-wise, he’s super friendly, professional, and makes the whole bar feel welcoming. He checks on you, makes sure you’re good, and somehow keeps everything moving even when it’s busy.
I seriously recommend sitting at the bar and letting Alek take care of you. If you want a great drink and a better experience overall, ask for Alek!! You won’t be disappointed.

I’m retired now and go through the drive through every Tuesday on my way to Bible study. Caro P. and Lesly M. are very sweet. They already know my order and how I like my tea. If I don’t go one week, they ask about me. They genuinely seem concerned about my wellbeing. You can’t find this type of customer service everywhere. I recommend this restaurant for its food and customer service.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, but I’ve never been treated this nicely! On Monday morning, I stopped by the drive thru to order tacos and burritos. Lesly took my order super friendly and patient, and Carolina Padilla at the window was amazing, even giving me great salsa recs. Usually, the folks at the window are a bit serious and not as warm, so this was a refreshing change.
Big shoutout to Armando, the cook — everything came out perfect, fresh, and super tasty. Fast service and such a chill, friendly team. Definitely rollin’ back here soon!

I always enjoy my early breakfasts at Taqueria Jalisco on Cimarron with my wife. The food is consistently delicious, and freshly made. The restaurant is always clean and runs efficiently, even during busy hours.
A special shoutout to Marisol… her friendly attitude, and great service make every visit even better. She always greets us with a smile and takes great care of her customers. I truly look forward to my visits thanks to the great food and wonderful service.

The food may a little pricey at times, but the portion size definitely makes up for it. Also the look of the restaurant itself is very clean and modern. The servers are also really nice, especially the morning shift! Marisol is a really nice server too. She’s very patient and brings requested items in a timely manner.
