Just started doing shift work here in Midland 4 shifts now and I have tried a new spot for Monudo everytime, this is now my favorite. I’ll be here Every Sunday. I have also tried the huevos rancheros an was not disappointed. The servers here are very attentive and welcoming, atmosphere is homie. This is a good place to be.

Place is clean. Salsa is good flavored but wet and thin. Queso was also good as well as the chips, crispy and easily breakable. Ordered the beef & chicken fajitas. Not a fan of whatever liquid they cooked them in. I would have preferred them without that. The beans and rice were good as well. Overall the waitstaff was good and accommodated adding cheese to the top of the fajitas. Rated service a 3 because they do charge an extra fee for non cash. I don’t frequent places that have a special line item for things that should be built in to the price. I probably would’ve gone back to try another dish but the credit card charge ruined that.

This is my 2nd time here, and I love it.
The place is clean with great decor and the music is not loud and can definitely have a normal conversation.

Recommend shrimp cocktail, in honest opinion for the ribeye is not cook properly and way to thin like chuck meat. Other then than pretty ok.

I was skeptical due to the mixed reviews but I always judge mexican restaurants on 3 things, their carne asada, beans, and salsa. The meat was juicy, tender, and flavorful. It came in a generous portion. The beans were excellent, definitely cooked fresh, the juices were savory and had the right amount of spice. The salsa was incredible, very spicy with a nice consistency. The chips were ok. My waitress was attentive but not overbearing and didn’t try to talk my ear off. Staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was just how I like it, nice and relaxing, music down low, plenty of open tables, tvs, and the lighting was just right. 5 out of 5. Definitely will go back!
