Establishment Scam!! This place over charged us around $20. Did not provide us an itemized receipt! Prices did not match the menu or what the prices reflected online. When we contacted the restaurant we were hung up on. When we called again the owner informed us he would not give us any prices. I will never order food for my office from here again. Save yourself the headache of an extremely over priced torta and sopes.

I like whole in the way type places. They are a scam. The final price was $28 for 3 tiny gorditas and 3 tiny street taco with a Mexican coke. Prices didn’t add up for I asked for an itemized list. They handed me a hand written napkin with the prices. And the prices did not match the menu. When i asked why the waitress response was, sorry I just work here. Food was not even good, tasted reheated and not fresh. Not recommended.

This place is trash I ordered some tacos out of four only 2 were decent.but not exactly barbacoa on them 2 more like shredded beef from caldo de res ,and the two bad tacos pastor dripping nasty grease and the tripa taco taste nasty old and chewy as hell

My favorite mom and pop taco shop! This place is great for authentic Mexican tacos. We actually go and have them do 1-2lbs of the fajita tacos and then take it home and have tacos for 2 days. It is definitely worth the trip.

NO BLACKS ALLOWED AT HILDALGO.
I was just there, and 3 people looked at me, never spoke. I’m like do y’all serve blacks, the gentleman says no. I’m like Wow..what. I ask again, do yall serve black people, he says again no. I asked for the manager/owner, he says he is the manager, asked for his name, he said Juan.
Went on to tell him I was sad and offended to this.. he looked straight ahead, never got up.
