You will never be disappointed when you dine at Taqueria Guadalajara off of Mace Blvd, Davis ca. All the food is authentic and amazing . I have tried many taco carts and restaurants in multiple towns and cities, but this one is number one to me! No need to look anymore. I found it for you.

Storytime…The job site wasn’t ready for us yet…so…let’s go get some grub!
Fortunately, one of my guys had been in the area before. He knew where to find a spot to park my giant truck.

The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. Plus, it has a huge outdoor patio!

The chips were extremely crispy and thicker than other places. The salsas were great, the hot salsa had a kick! (Just a heads up)

I forgot the name of the dish I devoured. In all honesty, I couldn’t even pronounce it. I asked what it was, and she started to explain it, but as soon as she said it had Chile Verde… I shouted, “I’ll Take It!”

The Chile Verde was melt-in-your-mouth wonderful! The (I don’t know it’s name) marinated beef in red sauce…also a winner!

The refried beans were a little too smooth for me, but they tasted great and they make a perfect bean dip for the chips! They also have a few other bean options, in case you’re scared of smooth beans.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants that I frequent and always recommend to friends visiting Davis. Probably one of two places with the best salsa that is genuinely spicy that satisfyingly burns my taste buds in a good way. Their tacos are authentic street tacos along with majority of the meals they serve. Menudo is only served on the weekends, but definitely worth the wait especially on a cold rainy winter Sunday.

First time being there , stop to use a gas station and saw they where rite around the corner from where i was so i decided to check them out plus my grandma was from Guadalajara and her cooking was amazing, but the taqueria was not that good , i finished all my 6 tacos because i was so hungry from my long drive from the bay area the carne asada tacos bland the al pastor tacos were Smokey but no salt and carnitas tasted old everybody was very friendly and nice lots of Americans in this location they’re playing really good Mexican music as well thank you for taking the time to read my short review

Food was trash. I ordered a combination with beef soft taco and Chile relleno. I also ordered mole with chicken, their Monday daily special. Mole was definitely not mole. Sauce tasted like cooked Pico de Gallo and was thickened with flour. Black beans were straight out of a can. Rice was the only part of this plate meal that was decent. Yes, just decent.

Combination was missing the Chile relleno. I was very annoyed when I got home and realized half of the combo was missing.the beef for the taco was dry and salty. Pinto beans tasted bland and were dry.

Very sad representation and I will never be back.

The food is pretty delicious and the service is good and fast! I ate here for lunch every day for the 2 weeks I was working on a job down the street. Good fajitas, the regular burrito was large and tasty and the street tacos were great! I tried the carnitas, pollo, asada and pastor. They were all delicious. Delicious.

Food is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. I don’t even live in Davis but I make a point to stop by this place any time I’m in town. The portions are great and prices are reasonable. Atmosphere isn’t much, but I care primarily about the food. They have a great outdoor seating area with cute patio furniture as well.
