A small Mexican restaurant with great homemade authentic Tex Mex dishes.
I tried another across road and was extremely disappointed. Passing this place for a larger lit up restaurant, NEVER judge a book by the cover. This place is wonderful, service was great and the food.. well just awesome. Had Texas dinner which is Cheese enchiladas & Carne Guisada… Simply amazing.
Googles reviews are way off on TexMex in Port / Aransas Pass area. You will NOT be disappointed.

The food was decent but the service was horrible it seemed like all of the wait staff had attitude and no communication between the cashier and waitress. I had plastic in my rice not once but twice, it was nice of them to take off my meal but twice I had plastic in my rice.

Super super cold in there. The waitresses were even wearing jackets. Had to get my food to go because I was so cold. Staff was on point though tonight and waitress with the red/pink hair was great.

Food is very good! Prices are great… kinda grossed me out that the opened 5 gallon buckets of salsa were just sitting on the floor by the register exposed to everyone who walks up to pay. Bathrooms were not clean and the doors and handles are dirty and sticky. Again, the food and service was great.. honestly if the place was cleaner and sanitized, I would have given a 5 star review.

Happy to find a Mexican restaurant open for dinner on a Sunday. Happy went away quickly with unfriendly server taking order for takeout. Questions irritated her and when the order was delivered they couldn’t give or sell us any extra salsa. Exceptionally bland and tasteless, not sure even salsa would have helped. Won’t try again.

A couple of suggestions for your establishment: please fix the inner door so that it doesn’t make that loud noise every time it closes. It is quite noisy. And maybe change your recipe on your menudo. Wife (who is from Mexico) says that it wasn’t very good.

So I just came in to visit this restaurant during Memorial day weekend to eat. Ask the waitress how weekend was going her reply was “it’s been REAL SLOW”… Me: What?? Not here,..
So I know I needed to finally write this review. I love this place . Me and my husband work hard all week and to lighten our load, we come here about 2-3 times a week. This place is always clean, needs so up grades, but clean. Food is 99.9% fresh. I say that because I have been here in late evening, morning, lunchtime, and early evening. I have one time, late evening that my food was sloppy made. I am a picky person when it comes to my food and service. I will not hesitate to let management know or owner for that matter. I love for my wait staff to be attentive, alert and aware, of my family and guest I bring to any establishment even if we are sobber inebriated, or feeling silly. This staff has proven time and time again that they can handle anything. I could even alter my meal if there is something I don’t like or replace with something else. I can’t eat corn chips so they bring me flour chips and make them soft for my teeth. One of the waitress recognized me and already ordered my chips and cheese dip as we were all being seated. She also knows we tip good if she applied herself. She has received small tips and now bigger tips. Food is hot, not burnt, fresh, and nice size portion. As you can see my plate is the #42. I asked her to alter it cause I can’t have cooking oil, so they take it out and cook it with salsa, and cover with white cheese. It’s AMAZING my husband had the California burrito. As you can see fresh and huge.
So if you are hungry, and ready for great service that is hard to come by, just stop on in. Thanks, Taqueria Guadalajara

It wasn’t very good at all. The ceviche tasted nasty. Beef Taco had no flavor. Cheese enchilada tasted cheese chewed up like bubblegum. The best part was a refried beans and the tortilla wasn’t bad either.

Ive had their Chicken Soup twice thru their drive thru…5

A friend told me about a ribeye and eggs breakfast…he said was great.

I went on a Wednesday morning @ 8 AM. One person in the place other than 4 waitresses.

I was greeted and waited on immediately. Waitress was nice and friendly.

I ordered the Ribeye and Eggs. 2 eggs over easy; ribeye extra, extra, extra, extra RARE; hashbrowns; refried beans + black coffee and a flour tortilla.

It came quickly….PERFECTO!!

Waitress came back several times to check on me….very friendly young lady. 5

The place is small, dated, but looked clean enough. IF you are looking for white glove fancy shmancy…..the Taqueria Guadalahara is not for you.

Looking for high quality & quantity food, delivered by a friendly yet professional waitress….then DO NOT pass up Taqueria Quadalahara on Commercial St. just passed the HEB in Aransas Pass.

The price to value is excellent…

Need your TexMex itch scratched….Taqueria Guadalahara gets it done right.
