I when to pick up an order from IKEA and search for something eat after. Then I found this place and If you are from Guadalajara or been there, or any towns close by, you really know that birria origin in the state of Jalisco, and here the have the most authentic birria I have taste so far in the state of Maryland. they have the authentic birria de chivo(goat) platter.
And in the moment they serve it to me, I knew this going to be good, they give a lot of limes and onions for toppings (yeah you don’t put cilantro on birria). Then they give handmade tortillas(again like the way is down in Jalisco). Then I saw they have more variety of tacos that your regular “Mexican place” like tripas(tripe) and cabeza(head). I just have space to taste 1 so when for uno de tripa, that was good too.
Food was so good that I have to take some to the family, got some regular beef quesabirrias and a Torta cubana. They big portions(only have pictures of the torta cubana) family love the food too. So yes if you see still reading this you should try this place

Loved the owner! Super charismatic and helpful! Loved the little quaint establishment and loved how close the food is to traditional Mexican food. I hadn’t food good menudo or caldo de res in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint.

Trust me, although the atmosphere is very basic and even there’s no AC, the food is awesome! Sometimes they will be slow at preparing food when there are more ppl waiting because they only have two chefs. But every food is made fresh, no premade food. I have been there many times and it’s one of my favorites.

Went in to try it out because of the great reviews 🙂 very friendly cashier and great tacos! I ordered Al pastor and Asada tacos they were so good! Also tried the melon juice loved it!! Will definitely be coming back!!

Order a birria tacos and burritos without vegetables to go. Once I open the box it had vegetables. Service was great. The birria didn’t really taste great. Consome had no flavor really.
***Also order a pupusa and that was the worst pupusa in my life. If you see the picture it doesn’t even look appetizing.

Stopped in for lunch while on the area. The birria tacos were absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was quick! Three tacos + canned soda cost ~$20. Definitely worth visiting!

So very good!!! Super welcoming, didn’t need to know Spanish to order but I tried anyway and they were patient with me. I got the birria burrito which was $12 before I tipped, Such a good price for what I got,very generous quantity of meat and he gave me a hot sauce to try that just topped it off! Took maybe 8 min at most on a Wednesday at 1pm. Definitely will be back.

Taqueria guadalajara probably serves the best Mexican food I’ve had in the DC area!. Tacos on homemade tortillas! Tacos de chorizo and al pastor with a lovely red sauce, plus a salsa verde made just of tomatillos, garlic, and salt! Never seen it before! You know it’s legit when you get radishes and cucumbers with your tacos! To top it all off, marvelous grilled nopales!
Ruben got tacos right! They have burritos, fajitas and all that jazz too, but I’ll never get past the tacos. What a treat!

The owner helped me jumpstart my car outside of costco and as a thank you I ate at his restaurant and IT WAS AMAZINGGG. The food is reasonably priced and just hits. 10/10 would recommend. Sensational
