The service is amazing, very friendly staff and very welcoming.
The chips and salsa were flavorful, especially the salsa (served warm) and was the perfect spiciness.
The Carne Asada was very flavorful, a bit tough, but delicious. The for tortillas were very nice and appeared to be homemade.
I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back.

Wife had an extended doctor’s appointment in Tyler. Dropped her off and off I went to find breakfast nearby. Started with Menudo… served with lime wedges, chopped onion & cilantro, and 3 small flour tortillas. Jarritos Mango to drink. Menudo broth & tripe were excellent. No hominy though… and I love hominy… but it was still very tasty! Followed up with a Huarche Carne Asada… it was outstanding… loved the Salsa Verde! I’ll be back!
06/12/25… another doctor visit for the wife so Mexican food for me! Today I tried the Pork Pozole (Green) and 2 Tacos de Carne Asada. Both were outstanding!
01/23/26 – almost went with the menudo, but changed at the last second. Ordered Chilequiles Verde and 2 Trompo Pork Tacos. Absolutely delicious! Frioles were divine!
02/06/26 – went with the Huevos Rancheros w/ Eggs Over Easy, Bacon, Home Fries & Corn Tortillas… also 2 Chicken Fajitas Street Tacos. Prefer a more traditional version but all was very good!

I just recently moved and this placed happened to be super close by, so of course I made the trip over to get some grub. For their Thursday special they were offering enchiladas for $8.99. I got chicken with a side of rice and beans. I ordered their Horchata as well. It was SO GOOD. All of it. The food also came with a small side of red salsa and chips. Both the chips and the dip were delish; low to medium level spice for those wondering. The horchata was great, some of the best I’ve tried. To be fair, I only recently learned about the existence of horchata due to a dear friend introducing me to it. But! It’s been my goal to try many of the places that offer it and this was some of the best I’ve had so far. Take from that what you will.
The restaurant itself is small, but it has a few tables and stools to wait at or dine at. The staff members were friendly and my order didn’t take too long to come up. Overall, I’m pleased with the food and the prices. I am super excited to have this yummy little place within walking distance. I can’t wait to try more of their menu and would recommend it!

Stopped in on the home and had a wonderful meal! Truly enjoyed real food, not tex-mex.

hands down one of the best Mexican food spots around. Every single dish is packed with authentic flavor, cooked to perfection, and made with real care. The trompo and birria tacos are on another level juicy, flavorful, and unforgettable. The salsas are bold and fresh, and everything tastes like it came straight out of a home kitchen in Mexico. On top of the amazing food, the service is warm, welcoming, and consistent every time. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality never misses. This place isn’t just a taqueria it’s an experience. A must-visit if you love real, authentic Mexican food. And I also want to add KEN! Is one of the best and I do mean BEST workers he’s welcoming and warming to me every time I visit!!!!!!

My opinion is this is the best tasting Mexican food in Tyler. The food is appropriately priced for the portion size. The staff is friendly and very attentive. This place can get very busy at lunch so arrive early. They do lots of carry-out. Dinner time I find less busy. The biggest drawback is the lack of parking. This location has a small parking lot shared with a few other small businesses.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food! This shop first appears unassuming because it’s connected to a gas station and there AC is only half on lol, but this place serves up some delicious tacos. Definitely a top 5 Mexican spot in Tyler!

$17.99 for 4 tacos, rice and beans and a bottle of water is pretty steep. The prices could come down a little, it is on the high side. The food was okay, the whole plate needed salt. The restaurant is a one and done for me, I wouldn’t come back.
They did not have canned drinks at the time I arrived nor provide free water. You will be charged $1.25 for a bottle of water. They had a varied selection of Mexican sodas in bottles and aguas frescas if you so choose.
The parking situation was extremely tight, I had to park on the side as all of the parking spots were taken.
