Do yourself a favor and give them a try. First visit and I will be back. Tortilla chips were fresh made, almost on the edge of being over done but oddly addictive. There house salsa is great, nice flavor and texture with just a hint of heat. As standard they bring a barrage of sauces. I went with the tacos and they did not disappoint. GET THE CORN TORTILLAS! I normally am not a fan, but these are game changers. I tried the shredded chicken w/ salsa Verde, skirt steak, and pastor. Presentation was mouth watering and execution was spot on. I am struggling to put a finger on what was different about the refried beans, but I am a fan. Staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and piping hot.

Amazing steak burrito jam packed with flavor! Reasonably priced & the service was also great. I briefly got a chance to speak to the owner who was very hospitable. I will definitely be back and you all should as well!

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The service, food, drinks, and ambiance were great. I loved the skirt steak and carnitas. Homemade tortillas were also delicious.

Ordered a beer each and guac and tacos.
The chips! To be fair, I like deep fried super crispy chips where it’s all about how they hold the guac and the salsa and these did that. I’m certain others will feel too greasy. I was in heaven.
We tried the homemade corn tortillas with our tacos – really good. A couple of steak and ground beef tacos with cilantro and onion. Nice full tacos. We both added sauces from those on the table. All good and all consumed.
Liked the guac; wasn’t too creamy had some chunks and onion and tomato.
We will definitely be back. The bill was lower than expected (a favorite place in Lisle for the same meal is about $18 more) and will be back.
**Atmosphere bite: we wanted a place that felt like a family owned/operated and that’s exactly what we perceived. It’s not elegant candlelit fine dining; we rated this based on what we wanted.

We were a group of 5 people and a table was available right away. We ordered quesabirrias, tacos, & a regular quesadilIa. While waiting we had complimentary chips & salsa. The chips were crunchy and tasted freshly made. Everything was so delicious! Loved the quesabirrias, served with a hot pepper, grilled onion & consume served on the side. I ordered a Pina colada (non-alcoholic). It’s one of the best I have had, with pieces of coconut & pineapple! Jamaica & horchata were also so refreshing! My mom had coffee and even asked the server what brand it was! Would definitely highly recommend. Owner was very friendly and came to take to our table to check in. He also takes care of the servers with gratuity included with larger groups & it states it on the menu.

Taqueria El Valle is my family’s favorite spot. Everything I’ve tried is always fresh and served hot! My all time go to enchilada flight is so flavorful and delicious. Pair it with fresh pineapple juice!!!! Even my picky teenager, can’t get enough of the Quesabirria and Gorditas. I must add, we come here atleast once a week and the food is always satisfying!
Family friendly atmosphere. Awesome customer service. You can tell they care about customers here. The servers are always making sure everything is just right.
Definitely recommend if you’re craving tasty, authentic Mexican food!

If you’re looking for great Mexican food, taqueria el valle is definitely your spot. Their food is the best around and their service makes it even better. Reasonable prices for the portions you get. Drinks are amazing, taste so fresh.

Wow, no words to describe the flavor of this tacos! Grilled stake tacos are the best, Chicago land best stake tacos. Hand made Tortillas, al pastor and cecina extremely good too! Won’t find anything better around. Unmatched quality of food as well.
