Wonder place for good mexican food. This place is a cash only but worth the wait. They have weekly specials and Menudo on the weekends. Enjoy great quality food my brothers and sisters. Like always feed your food souls, and God bless.

This used to be my go to taco place in town however over the last year the quality has decreased in different areas:
The meat quality is lower. Very fatty and salty.
Very little and not fresh cilantro is used
My to go quesadilla fell apart when I opened the foil it came with and had practically no cheese except for at the center of the slices (see picture). The cheese that was in the quesadilla was very sparse and an odd unmelted consistency
The service has become very apathetic. I called to provide feedback, assuming I would not be offered a refund on anything because they are cash only and don’t provide receipts. In the past local restaurants have been responsive to feedback because they want to maintain their quality and keep their customers, but not here. The woman who answered cut me off and placed me on hold.
I would not recommend take out, but eating in would probably result in better quality food since you can walk it back to the counter if needed.
Their old vibrant atmosphere with music playing on the cd machine was great and their home made chips used to set them apart. Now the machine is gone. No music is playing. The family who works there seems to be anywhere else. And their chips seem storebought.

We tried this place as it was recommend to us by a friend. The rice is very tasty and the tacos are small but really good. I got the asada. You’ll need to order about 4-6 to get full. Place is cash only with an ATM machine inside. Self serve chips salsa. Great taco spot.

Best place for Mexican food. Always recommend alPastor anything. I personally recommend the super burrito.
Super nachos are also very good. Horchata and Jamaica are excellent.
The only negative to this place is that it is cash only make sure you bring cash and do not go to any other TAPATÍOS they don’t taste the same.

I haven’t been here in a while but was craving their bean and cheese burrito. I was so disappointed!!! The cheese taste like rubber!!! Why did you change the cheese? To save a few bucks? The bean and cheese used to be my favorite in all Ventura county. So much so, that I got two. Needless to say, the 2nd one is going in the trash. I’ll never go back.

I ordered their ceviche tostada and a buche burrito. The ceviche tostada was really good and refreshing. The burrito was also good and it had some tasty sauce in it.
