I love everything I have gotten. My favorite is the quesotacos with steak as my meat choice and the Verde salsa with a side of meatless consume. Sooo good! Other Ive tried street tacos and the nachos all are.so good. Pictured is the quesotacos.

It’s in the mall what can I tell you.
But this place proves everybody wrong about Mall food.
Amazing Biria tacos, definitely did not need consomme, there is enough in the beef.
I ordered half with cheese but only got three with cheese instead of four…so the kitchen staff needs to be more attentive.
Also did not get my to Mandarin orange drinks with the meal, again they need to be more attentive.

I know you’re thinking this place is a taco shop in the mall I’m sure it will be “meh”. Well you would be VERY WRONG. The best tacos in town period. The Quesobirria tacos with Consume are show stoppers. The whole menu is so good, my kids love the quesadilla which is massive and the nachos are my wife’s favorite. There isn’t a lot of stuff in the mall anymore but this place brings us in and we look around at other shops while we are there. They have a Latin grocery store across the corridor from the restaurant and my kids love trying new candy and different ice creams from other countries. It’s a whole experience as they have amazing tacos, and menu then a grocery store across the hall that gives you tons of options for new tastes and experiences! You have to try it and make sure you get the birria tacos and a side of the queso rice, can’t forgot the Jarritos soda as well!

El Tapatio is by far the best Mexican joint to go to in Jefferson City if not the entire state. Family is from Southern California. Their food is phenomenal!!!!! They also have their own market. Located inside the front of the Jefferson City Mall. I’ve been coming here since 2019 2020 when they first opened. It’s a must try. (One of the only Mexican places I’ve been to that has consume, and Birria tacos)!

Literally some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Every single item on the menu is very delicious and flavorful. Those Quesa tacos are to die for. I also love the atmosphere of it being in a mall which makes this place even more special. The staff is always friendly to you and they always look happy.

This is my first time trying. I ordered the Steak bowl. Steak is good, beans are good. But the rice….. this rice is Bland. Zero flavor. (I did order salsa on the side but I didn’t check my bag before going back to work.) Staff was very friendly I’ll be back to order tacos

Amazing tacos in Missouri?!!? We finally found them! Steak quesotacos with a side of avocado and that spicy red sauce. Absolutely delicious. Don’t let the mall location discourage you as it did us. Best tacos in Jefferson City.

I ordered Birria tacos and they were some of the worst tacos that I’ve ever had… Birria tacos are supposed to be hot and melted, and they were cold. Staff was rude and quiet. Couldn’t even put a smile on their face…. The only Reason they’re in business is because it’s one of the only few Mexican places to eat. Terrible service, terrible food, and I would not recommend it at all.

Hands down THE BEST Mexican restaurant in Jefferson City! The birria tacos were the best I’ve ever had the burrito was massive and stuffed with everything you could ever want. It will be hard eating anything else now that I’ve had this food. I will DEFINITELY be a regular to this place from now on. You are 110% missing out if you do not give this place a try. 5 stars even seems to low to rate this, it deserves 10!
