We stopped here for lunch while passing through. The food was fabulous! I had Pollo en mole, a salad, and my partner had the Sabrosa plate for our main course. They were very tasty. For dessert we had the coconut flan, which I think is the best flan I’ve ever had.
From the outside, the taqueria only appears to be a walk up, but there is a cozy ding area with tables around the back of the wall up window.
The staff are super friendly and speak perfect English. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. Try this place out!

Wow! I was so impressed with the tasty food. We stopped here on a trip to Oregon, with no expectations, and were surprised to find a fantastic lunch… with plenty of leftovers for dinner! I’d highly recommend checking it out. I might even drive down again, just for the tacos 😀

Consistently good street tacos. Adobada and carne asada are in the picture but the chicken and carnitas are good too. The birria tacos are pretty good too. The service has been consistently friendly and fast.

Taqueria El Sabroso makes the best mexican-style tacos in the Tacoma metro. I’ve been grateful for their tripas tacos since 2018 and the carnitas are also perfect. As are the salsas, they make red and green, both absolutely fire. The dining room is … basic. It’s really a takeout place but if you must sit down it’s okay. The staff are efficient and friendly.

I stopped by as I was driving by and got the two taco special and another plate. Everything was soooo good! Mouth watering good. The smells from the kitchen did not disappoint! The people working today were super friendly and kind. This restaurant will likely become a regular stop for my family.

Everything tasted amazing, tamales were moist and delicious. My girls were very chatty and all over their counter, and backed me up wonderfully when I was giving the girls instructions to stay off. It was an amazing experience through and through.
