This little taco spot was an absolute gem. It’s a small, cozy place, but the tacos were incredible—packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Everything came out fresh and hot, and you could really taste the quality in every bite.
I also tried a tamale, and it was good—perfectly cooked, not too much masa, and full of flavor. On top of the great food, the people there were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for amazing tacos in a relaxed, no-frills setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Located on 5th Street near downtown Leavenworth. Tiny spot with only 3 four-top tables. We ordered to go.
What we ordered:
1.) Carne Asada Tacos $3.50 my husband liked these.
2.) Ground Beef Taco $3.50 my husband said this was just ok.
3.) Carnitas Tamales 3 for $9.00 the Meat was flavorful and the masa was soft
4. Arros side $3.50 rice was fluffy
5.) Frijoles $3.00
6.) Bean Dip $4.00 It had a little cheese drizzled on top which was tasty to me.
7.) Jamaica $4.75
Unfortunately they forgot to give me my drink at pick-up, so I called and had to got back to the restaurant to get, but the owner gave me another bean dip & chips for the inconvenience
We will be back as the food was good

This small Mexican restaurant tucked away in town transported us straight to Mexico—for just 30 dollars.
The place was cozy and intimate, and I can confidently say it served the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.
The staff were also incredibly kind and warm. I have a feeling we’ll become regulars here. Please keep serving your amazing, authentic Mexican dishes!

The tacos are tasty but extremely greasy. The restaurant is a small mom-and-pop shop, but it’s a tight squeeze when busy. I had a pickup order, but I had to squeeze between tables to get to the register. I was charged an additional $1.00+ for raw jalapeños but was offered pickled jalapeños instead.

Best food my family has had in a long time. Super flavorful Asada! My 8 year old LOVED his quesadilla. The family running the joint are also super friendly. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should.

I loved this place from the second they opened up. Soo much so that we had them cater our wedding. Let’s just say, they didnt not disappoint. Not to mention the family that runs it is absolutely amazing to deal with. I hope they stay around for the long haul.

Came around 2:30pm to order to go. Great customer service, clean environment, pricing and portion size is filling. I tried the ground beef Nachos this time. Not a fan, its okay. Too many toppings making the chips gets soggy fast. I recommend the Birria and street tacos personally.

10 out of 10! I tried the Birria tacos and a chicken street taco. Sooooo good! Love the sauces, especially the spicy salsa. This is now the best Mexican food in the Leavenworth/Lansing area.

Food is outstanding. Place is real small and only has three small tables crammed into a small space. It is better to get take out.
The food is authentic Hispanic flavors and served in large quantities. Absolutely amazing food, I’ve been eating there at least once a week since the first visit.

Wow . Awesome Taqueria.. What a little gem, seriously awesome flavors and perfectly cooked. Real treat being up here from TX and finding this spot.
