My favorite spot on Salinas… taste buds are always satisfied, my stomach is always full and my soul is happy after I eat at El Rey Taqueria. My go-to is the asada shrimp fries. Trust me when I say these fries delivery the heat and flavor.

We’ve always been happy with their food but I guess they have a new cook because recently the flautas don’t have any meat just crunchy tortillas, I understand inflation but this is ridiculous. In that case I might as well purchase a bag of tortilla chips at the grocery store because that’s what we received twice when we ordered. If this continues they will loose a customer. I don’t mind paying but I pay for the meal not hard tortillas!!!
